A wee thing, probably a minor slip but in room coffee cups not cleaned overnight.

Friendly and helpful staff, a lovely room underfloor heating in shower room -wow! Buffet breakfast was so pretty and very tasty. Excellent coffee. Great location near river and view from window of Henry the Navigator statue pointing the way!

Staff is helpful and friendly. Service is exemplary especially Janine. Location is excellent, very central, and yet very quiet. Our room is very spacious and clean. From our room we can see the river which is beautiful. Easy access to most places. Breakfast spread is simple but delicious.

The hotel is surprisingly small. However, built in very modern and minimalist style which makes it quite attractive.

The breakfast and the hospitality was excellent. Most of the services were available, you just had to ask. The location is right in front of the one of the most popular squares of Porto and the river is less than 2 minutes away.

No parking at hotel so parked opposite in underground car park. 17 hours parking and had to pay46.60 Euros!

Excellent location ! Only a couple of minutes close walk from the River side where there are some lovely bars & restaurants. The bed was gorgeously comfortable and view of the city was lovely . The only downside was the noise of traffic if the balcony window was open . However , the staff were fabulous - only too happy to accommodate what we wanted and the breakfasts were delicious . We would stay there again

The location was great, within walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast was very satisfying; fresh bread and fresh fruits were excellent. The staff was attentive and helpful; their recommendation for dining was outstanding. They recommended Venum restaurant for dinner and Porto tasting, and it had beautiful food and a great view of Porto.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in March 2024. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the room and decor throughout the hotel were modern and clean (ours had a lovely view of the park opposite), the bed was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel is also in an absolutely perfect location close to the river and near to lots of bars and restaurants. We couldn't fault it, and can't wait to stay again next time we're in Porto!

That I could not stay longer!

The staff are exceptional in every way and they made our stay comfortable and pleasant. It is a small boutique hotel built within the castle walls so it has tremendous charm and style. It is a lovely location, walking distance to all the historical sites. Porto is a delightful vibrant place and it’s easy to navigate yourself around the old beautiful city on the river. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I loved it there. Special thanks to all the wonderful friendly and warm hearted staff who helped us enjoy our trip. Thank you especially to Carol, Tania, Matheus, Nidia, and Theresa, a lovely personable charming and darling group of young people who made us feel so very welcome .

Heart of tourist area…. But that can be an advantage if looking for that.

I’m a previous guest — if you want, or need to be, in the heart of Ribiera it’s a great choice. Staff are delightful, rooms can be small - mine was a last-minute booking and had a “cozy” room—- definitely “cozy “ —- but for an overnight stay, perfectly adequate. Spotlessly clean; great breakfast. Highly recommended- and a first choice for me: sadly, often booked at last minute, when I usually need to stay.

The lift can only really fit 2 people max and at peak times it can be difficult to access (my room was three floors up)

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The bed was huge, with some of the comfiest linens and pillows. Very conveniently placed for exploring the city and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.
