Good communication and a wonderful reception upon arrival. We had a room with a firm queen bed, and a twin bed, and a private bathroom. Basic furniture but well laid out and clean. A good breakfast was included and served in the main kitchen/dining area. There is a laundromat next door, and a fabulous adjacent coffee shop. The house is centrally located close to everything. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hostel/ hotel accommodation.

The rooms aren't very well sound insulated but it didn't matter much as I sleep deeply.

I felt comfortable, the heater was working and the breakfast was so good I didn't have to eat much the rest of the day. The owner was considerate and understanding.

Can't really think if something. Probably if we stayed for longer - it would be nice to be able to cook. Otherwise I have nothing more to say.

The host is really helpful and hospitable! The rooms are cleaned and the kitchen has all we needed for one night. But it only has a microwave, so you probably won't be able to cook food. The room was very quiet, but actually there were only few guests as it is November - low season, so not sure how it would be when the guest house is full. All in all the stay was very comfortable and I recommend this place!

The location was perfect for our needs. There is a laundry just outside on the ground floor. The host was friendly and extremely helpful. Nice and spacious bathrooms.

The host was excellent, always ready to explain and give out a lot of information on whatever we needed. Also, he spoke fluent English, which was excellent. The location is idyllic too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the entire package

There is nothing that I didn’t like

Family house is a very basic guest house but rooms are equipped with all the facilities that are need for a short stay. The best thing about this house is that it is centrally located and very very near to pretty much every worth-seeing place in Aveiro. The owners (the couple) is very very humble and generous. They speak and understand English and make you feel that their house is your house and thats what makes the name of the house justified. Breakfast is amazing, fresh, diverse and delicious.

There’s an electric fragrance device in the front entrance that pumps out a dreadful, powerful smell and this hit me as soon as we walked in the door. The bed is small, but comfortable. There is no extractor fan or window in the bathroom and this is revolting, especially considering how tiny the bedroom is! There is no aircon so the room is very hot and stuffy, even with the window open.

The owners are really lovely and work very hard to keep everything clean, tidy and organized. The breakfast is generous and very tasty and the building is in a fantastic location.

Perfect location, in the city center of Aveiro. Small but well equipped bed and breakfast (it is classified as a hostel, but it is more a small B&B) . Small but super cute and clean rooms. The bathroom was INSIDE the room. Very kind owner. Tasty breakfast. Strongly recommend
