No space to hang/put things in the bathroom. Breakfast area was very dark. Cold light in the room, missed individual bed side lamps.

Due to the central location it is really quite noisy and the window is not soundproof. There was also a very noticeable humming noise coming from the fuse box in our room. I could not have slept without earplugs. All the doors including the one to your room are opened by typing in a code, so no keys to lose, easy check-in/out, so it’s convenient but not very comfortable. Service at breakfast varied - there were times when we ran out of almost every item and the staff was nowhere to be found. Not something we didn’t like, but you must be aware of the fact that you will need to carry your suitcases up quite a few stairs. You should also know that the breakfast room can only accommodate 8 people at four tables, so you need to book your breakfast slot (40 minutes) for 8, 9 or 10am in advance.

The staff of the nearby FLH Suites, from where the Guesthouse is administered, were great and helpful. We could store our luggage there until our room in the guesthouse was ready (the suites are about a 5-min stroll downhill the same busy pedestrian shopping street) and communication through WhatsApp was a breeze! The location of the Guesthouse is amazing (Metro stop to/from the airport less than 3 minutes away) and directly opposite is a little shopping mall with food court and supermarket. Getting around is really easy. The room was modern and quite comfortable. We loved the old stone wall. There’s even a little fridge. Coffee making facilities and muffins were available at any given time in the breakfast room. There was a bottle of tap water in the room every day. Nice small breakfast buffet. Enough choice to get you going.

Would have liked staff there when we arrived but when contacting them by phone we got immediate access 24/7 and hood English.

Loved the layout and position and a lovely breakfast. The staff were very communicative albeit remotely. We were also able to leave our luggage for the day.

Everything was spot on. Nothing we didn’t like as we lived it all.

It was spotless, airy, bright and in a great location. Tea and coffee available 24/7 as well as cakes and biscuits a lovely gesture. Nothing was to much trouble, instant replies to the questions we asked. Kept us informed throughout our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough. I would definitely stay again.
