The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was clean, the room's were perfectly designed to give the best use of the space. We had an amazing meal in the pizza restaurant, which is so delicious. We also asked for a later checkout time due to our flight home being at night and the hotel was more than happy to accommodate this request. All in all a very enjoyable stay. ✨️❤️

Excellent cost performance. Comfortable and clean. Everything smells good. I really like their Jusmine bath gels. Good air conditioner. I spent three nights with very good sleeps. Friendly staffs. Good breakfast with a lot of options. There is a garden in the 2nd floor for every guests.

I had an excellent stay at Fontinha Porto and I’m already planning my return! This was my first visit to Portugal and my first solo trip. The hotel is exactly as pictured, clean, modern, comfortable and well decorated. Check-in was quick and easy and I received a welcome drink on arrival. I upgraded my room on arrival to one on the 4th floor, (possibly picture 39) and it was very peaceful and quiet. Everything in the room was perfect - there was ample storage, great shower pressure/temperature and a really comfortable bed which ensured a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, extremely responsive and helpful both via message on booking.com before my trip, and in person once I arrived. They kindly ironed some of my clothes for me, loaned me an adapter and also left a thoughtful gift and card in my room for my birthday. The hotel is perfectly situated a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, downhill into town and uphill on the way back. Its also close to the train/bus so easy to get around. As a lone female I felt very safe the entire time, even when walking home at night. (The pictures are slightly blurry as they’re screenshots from the video I took). Thanks again to everyone a for a perfect stay! I have recommended the hotel to family and friends and can’t wait to return. :)

Good location, on the outskirts of the centre but only 10/15 mins walk to the main points of interest in Porto. The property was spotlessly clean. It is fairly new with some lovely design features. The team ( without exception) were friendly, helpful and keen to see and hear that you were comfortable, enjoying your stay in the hotel and enjoying Porto.

Wish there were more options for the breakfast. The coffee wasn't good enough tbh, actually preferred the machine one rather than the barista one.

If you want to stay closer to the centre and not walk 20/30 minutes home after a night out, I’d pick a hotel closer to the river as it was very steep and hilly on the way back every night to the hotel. There are buses (701/702) and the metro to get back by, but we opted to walk to take the city in.

Great staff, clean and tidy room, restaurant in the hotel itself if you’re stuck for ideas on food. Good location even though its a good 20/30 minute walk away from the riverside. Meant we were able to explore a lot more of the city this way and stumble upon sights you wouldn’t possibly see if you stayed closer to the centre. Literally walk down the main road and you’re in the main shopping district of Porto and by a nice market. Theres a great bakery 10 minutes up the road just by FC Porto’s ground too called “Brites”

The room was pretty small, there was no space for luggage so that it was not in the way and you couldn’t open the doors to the toilet and shower at the same time (or standing near the sink) as they would be in the way of each other :) it seemed the whole of Porto was pretty compact so maybe that’s how all the hotels are? I have nothing to compare to since it was my first time in Porto but the general feeling was this. The 2nd thing that we didn’t really like is that it’s kind of hard to come back to the hotel on foot from the city center, a little far and uphill, about 20 mins.

It was a cozy little hotel that basically had everything needed for a short-term stay like ours. The room was modern and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful so all in all, it was a good stay.
