Great location, useful it has a parking space, very spacious apartment with a great view! Well stocked kitchen, and was helpful to have a washing machine and drying stand. The pool was a bit cool for me, but a nice little area nonetheless. Beatriz was a great host as well, she answered all our questions and let us keep the car there for a few extra hours as well.

Fabulous hosts and property… look no further! Beatriz was amazing from the moment we booked her communication and help was invaluable, and when we arrived the instructions for everything, from access to the property, the pool and garage were written in a clear instruction booklet, with Beatriz always responsive to any queries. The property is ideally located in Funchal, about 9 mins walk from the downtown area, and our apartment has the most amazing view, overlooking the city and harbour. It was spacious, fully equipped and immaculately clean. We’d highly recommend this property and would return tomorrow if we could!

We had noisy neighbours for the first evening we were there but our host was very helpful and since the group weren't staying past the weekend the disturbance was short-lived and dealt with very effectively.

The location was ideal for exploring Funchal as well as being close to several restaurants and the cable car / bus terminus. Having the added bonus of being able to use the private pool was a real treat. The balcony provided a great bit of extra space to enjoy the view over the harbour and enjoy the sunshine.

Some noise in the street, mainly dogs barking early in the morning, which can't be helped. Also very warm in the apartment and no air-conditioning.

Lovely apartment a short walk away from the city centre- about 10 minutes. Spotlessly clean, well equipt kitchen, pool access. The host couldn't have been more helpful.

The location is not very close to the center. If you have a car, it's not a problem, but it takes about 20 minutes to get to the main square on foot. For us the bed is not very comfortable, small pillows. Good hearing from the street and neighbors.

Excellent, spacious aparment, wonderful view. Location just perfect to explore Funchal if you like walking (climbing:-)). Also great start for further exploring Madeira when you have car for your disposal. We had great week and appartment definitely played its role.

Kitchen supplies such as paper towels, knife sharpener, etc were not available. Towels could be of better quality.

Good location but walking up the short street was challenging. Luckily, taxis in Madeira are cheap and plentiful. The host was very helpful and available when needed.

Everything was fine. Maybe a little more personality to the appartment would lift it a bit; some pictures on the walls? It's a small detail. I recommend the place.

The apartment is nice and clean, with a good view over the harbour. We also used the little terrace with the pool. It was very nice. Beatriz is a very nice and warm host.

Everything is great and it didnt bother us. If i had to be picky- towel were thin, no hairdryer, no bodysoap and shampoo but we brought our own. Rooms were by side of road so if you are sensitive to noises, it may bother you. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be back.

Huge 2 bedroom apartment (B) with balcony and outdoor sitting area, full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 bathrooms. Parking available inside garage (though on a steep slope to get in), communication was easy with the owner through booking.com. about 15mins walk to the historical old town and marina.

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious, conveniently located apartment close to the old town. Beatriz was a wonderful host, providing restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. She even went out of her way to put some food in the fridge for us when she learned our flight was delayed to only arrive late in the evening. We made use of the pool and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Highly recommend!

It was almost perfect, although could use a few more pillows as the ones they have are a bit flat.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment with all the amenities specially of your travelling with babies and need to cook and do some laundry. Very comfortable beds and an amazing outdoor space, even has a swing in the patio. The location is perfect, 5 min walk from city centre but without the noise. Beatriz was an amazing host, always available and gave us great ideas for our trip.

Nothing really. I would certainly stay here again.

The apartment was lovely and was bigger than it looked in the pictures. It was clean and modern and the kitchen and utility room were well equipped. (A small number of washing and dishwashing pods were provided although we brought our own. ) There was a lovely sun deck with a dining table and bench swing, which was caught the sun in the afternoon. There was off-street parking available in the garage, which is a bonus in Funchal as the streets are so narrow. The flat is located a couple of streets back from the busy old town, so it’s ideal for accessing the amenities without being so close you can hear the noise. Beatriz, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly, offering us some great tips.

Needed some proper sunloungers around the pool rather than wooden chairs and maybe two comfy chairs for the balcony

Large , clean apartment . 15min walk to excellent bakery. Great view . Pool good and Beatriz was lovely and immediately sorted a minor issue on arrival
