Room was pretty comfortable and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The spa was fantastic. Great to unwind. Nice for business or leisure lodging. Breakfast had a wide selection. Overall not bad.

Would have preferred a separate shower as opposed to the shower over the bath. Appeared to be leaking somewhere. View - would have preferred a view of the beach area.

Location, location, location! Amazing view of the ocean from our room, loved watching the sunset over the sea from our balcony. Plenty of places to eat in the immediate area. We were glad we had prebooked a parking space in the secure garage, as there were no spaces on the streets nearby. Good choice for breakfast. We didn’t use the spa facilities.

Vast choice for breakfast. Lots of English speaking movies. Pool and Spa area blew my mind as had it all to myself. Had a great sleep in a comfy bed.

We had hoped to go to the carnival celebration in nearby Ovar. The staff wasn't able to help us, sending us to the tourism office nearby. It was closed because of the carnival. Parking costs but is a secure area. Off season there are spots to use nearby.

Location across road from beach is fabulous. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.

The room (and also some parts of the hotel) had some signs of needing some maintenance/renovation. Because is an isolated area (specially in the winter) is a pity the restaurant is not working.

Amazing view, it is not the first time I stay in this hotel and I never get tired of it. The location is very nice and the hotel is pleasant. The breakfast has a good variety as well.

The room with a perfect bed. Room with a view on the ocean, sound of the oceans during the whole day. Area of the hotel and the town is more nice during warmer period. Good breakfast, complementary water in the room and every room has a small coffee machine to have an espresso. Did not have a chance to try the spa, hopefully will have the chance to go back. Restaurants, ice cream shops and bars close to the hotel. Nice area to take a walk or run (wooden pathway over the dunes/beach area)

we arranged to stay an extra two days which meant changing to a better room and of course spending more money . when I approached the manager on reception about being able to move upstairs I asked could we stay in our room until the new one was ready . simple really as they could have cleaned our room last and the new room first . He was extremely rude and said did I not know we had to be out of our room at 12 I think it was and the other room wouldn’t be ready until 3 .He was so rude and turned to another customer as I was speaking to him . I walked away . obviously someone changed his mind because after a while he knocked on our door to say we could go straight upstairs . I have to say all the other staff were extremely helpful and pleasant . He actually really upset me

If you don't get a room with a view and if you are outback then the view from your window is a bit grim overlooked by lots of run down apartments. Not a problem for us because we just needed to sleep and rest butI can imagine some would find this unappealing. The hotel was rammed with some very selfish customers though who seemed affronted that we were not German (but zis is a boutique hotel... I was told by one one when they realised we weren't german or dutch lol - none taken) Much competition for breakfast items from these guests! Not the hotels fault at all but could be a source of tension.

Great location by the beach and if you have a room in the front or side it would be a great view. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was OK and some of the fittings were a bit old but OK. Coffee maker was helpful.

Room was oddly configured but very comfortable and it had everything you'd need. Not an overwhelming choice of nearby restaurants, it was definitely helpful to have a car. Nearest supermarket is several miles away (although there is a small Spar type market in Furadoura.)

Loved the view, just steps from the beach. Great breakfast and a very friendly, helpful staff. I'd come back and stay here any time.

Not good value for money - nearly most expensive room on our 17 day trip. The premium room with sea view lacked any wow factor. Hotel lacks a pool.

the restaurant was closed, they charged €10. to put two bikes in an empty garage which no other hotel did during the whole two week cycling store, the Wi-Fi was intermittent. the breakfast was poor quality.
