This hotel was absolutely amazing. Fatima and Calo were the most inviting and kind hosts, and I would stay here again just to see them. The room was huge, breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect - just a little off the beaten path to be quiet, but close enough to easily get to all the tourist spots. We could not have asked for a better spot for the end of our trip in Portugal.

The hosts, Fatima and Calo are so helpful and friendly, the warmest welcome and expert advice for exploring the city. The breakfast was fantastic everyday and so nice to have brought to the room. The bed was very comfortable. There was no noise which was great for sleeping. Everything was perfect.

Extremely friendly host, living in the same building. She gave proper information about Porto, sights, restaurants - everything you need to know. Breakfast was perfect and delivered each morning to the room at a mutually agreed time. Hospitality, kindness is above expectations. Best place I have been so far. Location: close to the city center - but far away from crowd and noise.

Fatima and Calo welcomed us as guests to their country with a warmth that we haven't ever had before - altho we love Portugal and the people and have visited 15 times. They gave us lots of information on where to eat and what to see and ordered a taxi for us when we left. They were exceptionally kind and friendly.

Absolutely superb accommodation Fatima and Calo are exceptional hosts and lovely people, they couldn't be more helpful. Situated close to Santa Catarina and Balhoa the Gardenia is 25 minutes walk from Riberia. The breakast is superb, if we get back to Porto we will definitely try and stay here again

The location is great, in a quite neighbourhood but a short walk from Bolhao. The hosts Fatima and Calo do everything to make your stay as good as possible, from a welcome glass of port to delicious breakfasts, and will give you all of the information you need to enjoy Porto. Our room was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very nice and cozy apartments. Close enough to the center for walking distance to many attractions but still quite enough in the night. Fatima and Calo are always looking to make the stay memorable. Thanks for the nice time there!

In our ground-floor apartment, the bathroom was quite small, making it challenging to move around. However, it was well-organized to maximize efficiency. The double bed, at 140cm wide, was the smallest my husband and I have ever slept on, leading to some restless nights

Above all Fatima and Calo were exceptional hosts. They greeted us with a taste of Port and they took the time to help us enjoy our visit to Porto and launch our journey on the Camino de Santiago. Our room was amazing and we were lucky to have access to a private large terrace. The kitchenette had lots of amenities and the breakfast each day was fabulous.

Our hosts welcomed us with a glass of Port wine. We had the huge apartment upstairs with room service. Breakfast was excellent. We even had free parking thanks to our hosts. They gave us recommendations for what to see in Porto which we greatly appreciated.
