Even though hotels entrance and spa look very good, rooms and pool area are outdated and would benefit from an update. Breakfast was generic, the same every day and compare to other 4stars hotel in Portugal not as good and fresh and being in Madeira with so many fruits options available, not many choices of fruits were offered at breakfast. Overall I would not rate it as 4stars, just 3stars.

You need to walk a bit towards downtown, but there are frequent buses. We could not use the spa option as we went out for hiking during the day, and it had a short time period when it was open.

Kind staff, amazing clean rooms, nicely maintaned pools, delicious breakfast. Safe and nice neighbourhood. The garden is well-maintained and amazing. Parking lot available.( in peak season might be limited as it is not so huge).

We wasn’t really satisfied with the breakfast selection. Basic food with little choices of fruits and vegetables.

Nice and clean room with welcome fruits and water. Smart TV was really appreciated by our children :) perfect location close to all you need.

There was a horrible smell in the area outside our room. The hotel had lots of plug in airfresheners which were not pleasant.

Pleasant hotel in a good location in Funchal. Great staff. Both pools were good, the gym was very basic, but OK and the hotel parking was adequate. WiFi was medium speed, but reliable. Breakfast was great.

Not enough teabags, sugar , milk for tea making in the room. There was no free drinking water bottles.

Location was good in quiet neighbourhood away from main funchal old town. Upper floors room i stayed was quiet and room was comfortable for a solo traveller. Free parking onsite was good.

No tissue in the room.The cleaning service every day -taking garbage/making a bed /but no cleaning/whipping floor or surface .The breakfast could be no variable.

Hotel is close to the road which made the room noisy when we opened the balcony door or sat on the balcony.

Clean, good value for money. In a handy position for the lido and the town. Small pool but it was not busy. This mght be different in high season. Good to have a fridge and some fruit in the room.

Good location, near enough to the old city of Funchal. Friendly welcome, clean rooms, abundant breakfast. Great pools in a nice garden, away from the street. Important plus: private parking. Definitely recommend it!

Vegetarian / vegan menu was a welcome find. Buffet breakfast has good range of choices. Happy hour at the bar from 8 until 9pm. Live music Monday and Friday but not well advertised. Adult only pool available. Friendly staff.
