The hotel seriously needs renovation. Mould and damp everywhere. pool was dirty (disgusting swimming in this). Shower area poor, nroken hoses etc. Very dissatisfactory. Saunas should be communal. Gardens /outside needs upgrading. Walls need paintings in corirdors etc.

Nice view from room. Room size was great.

Cleaning needs to be worked on. Bed sheets. Agreeable, but can be better. Building is a little old.

Location, staff, reception Receptionist lady was very knowledgeable about city and gave us good tips Gentleman on reception Daniel, was very approachable and kind, also professional. We had some issues which were quickly resolved, we really appreciated it. 15-20 min by uber from city center which is about 12-15 euros, as well as airport Location is absolutely beautiful, sea view is exceptionally beautiful, sunset, little cafes etc There is train station at Gaia where u can take train to Lisbon, it is also 15 min by uber from other train stations Overall we r happy

The hotel had a good bathroom znd very comfortable bed. In places - pool area, outside area, - the hotel is getting a bit 'tired' looking. Surrounding area being de eloped with lux apartments. Is the hotel able to attract the Porsche drivers?

    Did not have breakfast.

a special mention for Daniel, at the reception, a very efficient and attentive young Brazilian, I had requested a room with a double bed which had not been assigned to me, and Daniel did everything to get it to me as soon as it was available. These kind of people make all the difference in hotels especially for people who travel a lot like me

We only went for breakfast on one day and it was poor. The yogurts were passed their use by date, none of it looked very appealing, found it difficult to find something nice to eat.

Loved the view over the Atlantic and loved the location, able to walk to bars and restaurants close by but also able to walk, about an hour or so if done at a reasonable pace without stops, in to Porto along the river bank. The restaurant that is linked with the hotel, just down the hill has excellent food and view.

facilities have seen better days. the Turkish Spa is not working, and everything needs a bit more care and love. it’s still OK, but you can feel the old glory days are over.

The location is amazing if you are looking for Sun, beach, sunsets and the ocean. it is a bit far from the city center, but that’s ok. the hotel staff is young and super friendly.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the hotel bar was closed for the duration of our stay, and we feel that this should have been communicated to us prior to booking. Furthermore, we noticed some wear and tear in the hotel that was likely due to its age, and felt that it was in need of renovation to bring it back to its former glory. However, we do acknowledge that the price of our stay reflected the condition of the hotel. Despite these drawbacks, we appreciate the affordability of the accommodations, and would still recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers seeking a decent stay."

This hotel boasts an unbeatable beachfront location The views alone make it a fantastic value for the money.

    There was nothing I'd change.

The room was very spacious, the tiles in the bathroom were stunning. Lovely double headed shower and separate loo area. Loads of storage space. Balcony with beautiful views over the sea. Classy and stylish bedroom furniture - bedside cabinets and tables- polished walnut. Breakfast room overlooking the water, great selection of pastries, breads and rolls. Fresh fruit salad, cheeses and hams as well as cooked food. Very friendly staff. I'll certainly be going again.

Get the steam room working we really wanted to use it, especially given one of us was a non swimmer. The sauna was also not hot despite waiting for hours. I guess without many customers using then they do not get switched on.

The staff at the reception were excellent, especially one, in particular, I forgot her name, but she grew up in Botswana. She gave us lots of recommendations nothing was ever a big ask. The team was good at offering us the hot water refill we always wanted for our tea and answering any questions. The room was spacious, with a view to die for. Great hearing the waves from my bed. It was very clean, and TV had lots of channels to choose from. The balcony was amazing to chill. If not driving there is a bus stop a min from the hotel. Hotel happy to book you taxis too.
