Really enjoyed staying here. Rooms/flats equipped with all you need for a week stay, really clean and comfy. Great location to get the vibe of the Peniche, very good internet connection (I had to participate in several online meetings during my stay. Perfect connection!). And above all - the hosts. Freshly baked cake on a rainy day from the hosts made my day :)

Hosts were the loveliest and friendliest people! Always on hand to help or respond if we needed anything. The house itself is massive and well equipped, with very comfortable beds too.

The flat could be decorated a bit more friendly to make it feel like home. The honesty bar could also be hidden and be replaced by nice deco elements.

Our whole experience was thoroughly positive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Beach Break. The hosts Frederik and Kristof were kind and helpful (and gave excellent suggestions on where to eat and what to see), the apartment is exactly like on the pictures and the location is good (quiet yet close enough to get to restaurants, to the beach etc. on foot). Also helps that it’s very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

What was not to like. Frederick and Kristof were outstanding hosts and their guesthouse (we had the one bedroom) was beautiful. The town of Peniche is very walkable. We had the best meal of out trip based on recommendations of our hosts. We would love to stay here again on another trip.

A beautiful property, very spacious and light. Great facilities, every detail thought of. We even had fresh sheets and towels half way through our stay. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming. It was total pleasure in every way.

Hosts were lovely. Went out of their way and even gave us home bake cake to have as an afternoon snack. Their tips and recommendations were really helpful. We had completely independence and privacy from other guests. Walking distance to pretty much everywhere in Peniche peninsula.

Hospitality was exceptional and we felt very welcome. Kristof was very responsive, always there for every question we had, even offered to give us a ride to the bus station. The location of the apartment was very convenient and the neighborhood was silent. The apartment was very spacious with balcony and large terrace. It was very clean and fully equipped with everything you might need.

We had a warm welcome from Kristof. He showed us everything and brought us a bottle of excellent Alentejo wine. The apartment was nicely decorated and pretty new. The facilities were great. Wifi worked well. The apartment is close to everything you like to visit in Peniche. You can do everything by foot. Supermarkets are also close. Nearby Peniche is the wonderful city Óbidos, worth a visit. On our second evening Kristof brought us two fresh baked pasteles de nata. They were delicious, much appreciated.

Everything about the guesthouse was wonderful. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The hosts were amazing, welcoming and informative. The morning baked surprises were a nice touch. The town of Peniche is a lovely escape from Lisbon. The fact that it just happens to be a surfers paradise is a bonus.

Just a small issue that there is only one supposibly sharp knife, which unfortunately is not really sharp. Other than that, everything was fine!

Very pleasant location! Extreme friendly hosts. Fast and easy communication. Lovely new bathroom. Easy to get to various spots in Peniche by foot. We had a wonderful stay!

The air in Peniche was damp (March) and sometimes felt a bit chilly. It wasn’t bad enough however to bother asking about turning on the heat or the possibility of using the fireplace. If we had, I am sure that the hosts would have helped us with that as well.

Huge 3 bedroom apartment. Comfortable beds. Well functioning appliances. Plenty of hot water. Large grocery store within walking distance. Wonderful hosts who were very helpful and gave us plenty of great ideas for sightseeing. Extra bonus with Fred’s yummy treats.
