I would give full points to Casa do Preto, but unfortunately, there were dogs barking in the yard in the middle of the night. If you don't mind barking under your window this is definitely a place to stay in Sintra.

This is a very nice home-like place. The room was super clean and everything was organized well. The breakfast was cute & delicious and served on a table in the breakfast room.

Spacious room, lovely shower, comfy bed. Delicious breakfast and Beautiful spacious property with a stoep where you can enjoy a cup of tea in the sun. The bus stop is very close so a wonderful place from which to explore the area. One night isn’t enough!

We had a family room with two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), but the bathroom is located in the double room, so to get to the bathroom you have to go through the bedroom and wake people up in the process.

The property is super nice, beds were comfortable and the rooms were sparkling clean. The breakfast was amazing, highlight of our stay. The shared kitchen was a great.

A bit out of the way for Sintra sites but we only stayed for 1 night and didn’t have much time to navigate sites to visit.

The room was big and clean. And the breakfast exceeded my expectations, way better than the one you get at a hotel. Also, the bus that takes you to the main attractions and city center stops a few meters away from the guesthouse.

Happy Sintra was a home away from home. Rita and Sophia truly treat their guests like family and create a warm, welcoming environment. Their breakfast was the best I have had at any location in my travels and they include little touches to make it extra special. Transportation to the sights around Sintra is easy via Uber or bus. The room was lovely and it was so enjoyable to sit by the wood burning fire on a rainy day. The outdoor terrace was a lovely location for breakfast. Happy Sintra is a place you want to spend time in. Thank you for a wonderful stay and the breakfast before my flight.

WOW! it exceeded our expectations - the photos do not do this place justice! The bedrooms are so comfortable, bathroom very clean and the included breakfast is gorgeous and delicious! The owner was very accomodating and even let us leave our bags on the day of arrival and on the day of check-out! We were a bit confused with the buses but you are really able to walk everywhere in Sintra if you are fit! Just ask the hostess for tips about buses - she is more than happy to help!

Could use some additional electrical outlets. If you are a light sleeper, the 3 sometimes barking dogs could be an issue.

10++++/A++++ easy quick check-in. Nice women hosts. very clean room right off kitchen, small, but very clean. Parking directly next door in the restaurant parking lot. GREAT common area kitchen. Great hot water and wiFi. large queen bed. No A/C but the room cooled down at night, I would stay her again.
