We had such a lovely stay here. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night and would have loved to be able to extend our stay. Although we had an early flight in the morning and would miss breakfast, Paula very kindly left a breakfast package for us in the room to eat when we got up! Every little attention to detail was brilliant and made us feel right at home

The proximity of a boat yard means there can be machinery noise sometimes.

This is a beautifully renovated building, near the beach. It has a gorgeous set of stairs, but no elevator, so it is something to bear in mind if one needs an accessible stay.

The interior design is fantastic. One of the most traveler-friendly rooms I’ve ever seen. The breakfast was amazing - tasty food served by friendly staff. The hotel was very responsive and accommodating about trying to help me fix an error on my end.

You need to be able bodied. It’s a fair way by easy metro from the centre or airport.

The property is decorated with taste. Although the room is relatively small, it quite comfortable and homey. Close to beach, close to the public transport. Short bus ride to Porto with beautiful scenery on the way

My husband and I are walking the Portuguese Camino and like to stay in private rooms. This guest house is amazing- so tastefully decorated, the most comfortable bed we slept in (those European mattresses are normally super hard), very clean, upscale amenities and the breakfast (included), was amazing. Paula was a wonderful host. I can’t recommend it enough. The price was amazing for the accommodation.

The breakfast starts at 09:00 am, which is pretty late. Especially if you are an early bird like me, that would like to start the day early. I'm guessing that this is because the restaurant is also open for diner and the staff needs also their rest, so its all good.

Sara (the owner) is super nice, and very friendly. The rooms are very well designed and everything is so clean. The building and rooms are protected with a code, which makes it very easy to enter. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.

On the top floor where I was staying, the ceiling in the bathroom was a bit low for my height, but that's only a very minor complaint.

A lovely and cosy hotel near the beach. The staff was amazing and helpful. I requested an earlier breakfast because I was in Matosinhos for a work trip. Overall, it was a great stay, I would return here again.

I had a great stay at the townhouse, the room was very beautiful, i got even an upgrade of my room. The hotel was also only a step away from the beautiful beach. I had my airplane early in the morning and i could not go to the breakfest in the morning and i got instead of that a breakfest in my room for the evening and it was really a full breakfest with everything i could wish for. It was cruly the best place i have ever been.

Perfect place to stay. Host are absolutely awseome person, food was delicios. This is the best place to stay around ocean in Matosinhos or if you want to spend time in Porto because there's very good web of connections via bus or metro.

There's no such thing! Rather a wish - to expand the range of breakfast for vegetarians

First of all, I would like to note that the hotel itself looks great, located in a great location - not far from the embankment, along which you can park your car for free. The owner of the hotel, an amazingly kind and tactful woman, greeted us very warmly and was always ready to answer our questions. The atmosphere inside the hotel is very pleasant, as are all the staff. We have never regretted that we chose this particular hotel in this town - it is very convenient to get to the city of Porto in just 30 minutes by bus No. 500, the route of which runs along the embankment. Our most sincere recommendations and gratitude for the warm welcome and wonderful experience. We hope to come back again! We will recommend the hotel and the city to our friends! I wish you success and prosperity!

We had a short but great stay in Matoshinos. We would have missed breakfast because of an early outbound flight but the host prepared some for us the night beforehand. We were upgraded to a better and more spacious room for free.

Promoted ‘Panorama see view room ‘ in fact completely does not has it at all! You have to just imagine, that the ocean exist behind obstacles covered window view. Please stop fool customers!
