The only thing I didn't like was that I wish I could have stayed longer!

The staff at Home Lisbon Hostel is incredible!.... They really do make you feel like family. I was traveling solo, but I never felt alone. Thanks to Alex, Matilde, Julianna, Lis, Pelie, Sam, Ivo, Roee!.... and the place is spotless!

The bunch beds are old school wooden ones, I prefer the more modern ones for added privacy especially on the top bunch when there is no curtain.

Location is prime in Lisbon, all clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful. All in all a good place to stay if you are traveling solo in Lisbon

Shower wasn't warm enough. My room dour creaked

Mama's dinner was great and it was value for money. It created a friendly atmosphere for all to socialise. Made some good acquaintances.

I stayed on the 2nd floor. There’s a room that connects to the women’s toilet where ppl smoke. Theres so bad ventilation and the smoke filters in like if they were smoking inside. Not a good feeling in the toilet specially if you don’t smoke and are fresh showered 🥹 I guess they need to fix it. Also my charger burned in one outlet and I had to spend 10 eur that I did not consider in budget for a new one. My charger was in very good conditions, there’s something wrong coz I reported it did not charge from my room either. They did not recover my charger, which I considered bad for my circumstances as a guest.

It’s fairly central and hence I was able to get to almost all the places I wanted to visit by foot. For Belém and other farther areas I was able to find transportation 5 min away from there. In general personnel and guests were nice and I felt a good atmosphere during my stay.

Really not much to complain about. The shower pressure in the private room was horrible, proper bad, and the water was often cold/warm, but never hot. The bathroom is on the same floor as the shared rooms, I didn't like having to move around on the floor to shower toilet etc. but it is what it is.

I stayed in the private room for 3 nights and 4 bed mixed dorm for 1 night. The private room is amazing, spacious and nice balcony. Having the bathroom en suite was great and was clean. Bed was comfortable and room was not noisy. The staff were awesome, there's a great chill area and plenty of events. Such a vibe at this hostel, easy to meet people and mingle. Great breakfast and dinner available. Highly recommend staying here. Location is absolutely PERFECT.

The setting and decor of the Hostel is amazing! Very very clean and Mama's dinner is a great way to socialize and talk to the other guests. Really great stay at one of the nicest hostels I stayed at!

There could have been more food during the night when coming back to the hostel after at night out. There was empanadas one night and it was perfect, thanks to Ivo who worked evenings/nights in the bar/reception and we as guests felt to continue the party due to the warm welcoming back from a night out!

I liked everything, the staff were so welcoming and inviting. The rooms were nice, fresh and quiet. The “mamas dinner” was worth going to the first night to get to know people. I would stay here again and this was my first hostel experience. Very central and easy to find and go out at night and explore. The rooms have their own hallway so there is space between the sleeping area and the common area.

Besides the location being excellent (right in downtown Lisbon and rather close to two underground stations), the staff was very friendly and informative. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable. The staff kindly provided me with a lock pad for the locker, as I forgot to bring my own. The showers/bathrooms were sufficient, and amazingly clean. I really enjoyed my stay!

I attempted to sign up for the hostel dinner via phone call as I was in Sintra and wanted to join but you had to do it in person.

The pub crawl was a lot of fun and a great way of meeting people!

Only thing to improve would be better hangers or something to hang you clothes on while in the shower.

Great customer service. Good rooms, the bunkbeds were nice and pillow was suprisingly comfy. Beds had a big, lockable storage underneath. Towel & lock can be rented against a small fee which they give back when returning them. There was an AC but it didn't work which didn't bother me as I don't like AC. Wifi worked great and there is two of them to choose from. Best thing about the place is the location as it's in the city center, close to different busses, trams and also not too far away from a metro stop.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in terms of its ambience, comfort, cleanness, quietness which really offers a home-like environment and experience. The building was beautifully decorated with family pictures and handcrafts on the walls. All the areas were very clean, secured and quiet. Mama's dinner was lovely and she was so kind to offer me a birthday surprise. I felt like I was surrounded by a real family while sitting at a table with a dozen of new faces, thanks to the great atmosphere mama created here.

Some things were our of order or under repair while staying there, but they were in the process of being fixed.

The hostel was in a great central location, check-in with the staff was quick and easy and they were so helpful and lovely. The ambience of the hostel was so comfortable with the women's only dorm having it's own hallway and bathroom area.
