I don't recommend using the underground garage. The garage tunnel is very very narrow going into the garage and out of the garage. It is very difficult to maneuver the vehicle through the winding tunnel.

Room had a balcony and overlooked the ocean. Breakfast was buffet with a large selection of food. There was a nice garden in the back that led to the ocean swimming area and there is an outdoor pool.

No Smart-TV (but at least several English movie-channels), old-fashioned furnishing (couch and everything looks and feels like the 90's), room service not good (meals came without any cover and were almost cold), kitchen just soso (not on a 4-star-level), pretty plain breakfast (no vegetables at all, no salad, no donuts, no meatballs, no fried eggs, apricots out of a can, no fresh juices,...), shower and bathtub both too small (especially for a 4-star-hotel), in summary disappointing for a 4-star-hotel - has nothing to do with 4 stars on the continent...

Cozy room, nice ocean view from the balcony, nice and helpful staff, great spa (but that's under another management), comfortable large bed!

Facilities are very dated. Hotel needs major renovations. Dilapidated pool loungers. No umbrellas. Paint peeling away everywhere. Carpets old. Pool bar not open despite posted menus and prices. Bird poop all over pool area.

Perfect location on waterfront with Infiniti pool. Great public swimming area in Crystal clear bay right next door. Easy parking access.

I was missing wider selection of food for breakfast. In addition, I was missing kettle and iron in the room (I have not asked the staff if it is possible to get from the reception, but it is very likely that it is, which I have not done). It was also challenging with parking in front of the hotel (they do have parking area when you are checked in and you can use keycard from the room to access; however prior check in the space for parking is very limited in front of the entrance).

The hotel was in good location within Angra. It had nice view to the ocean, which you could enjoy from bar area where lunch, dinner or just drinks could be served. They had spa, which was a pleasure after days spent walking, exploring caves and travelling. If you arrive early, there is possibility to drop off your luggage, which I found extremely useful.

Pool bar was closed during our stay. The exterior facade on the seafront could do with some work (re-painting) Balcony furniture...?

Great location, 12min walk to the centre of Angro de Herisimo, comfortable rooms, buffet a decent option for a night, but for the better quality restaurants it's best to head into the centre. Spectacular views of the bay, good terraces to have a drink in the evening (food available here also, sandwiches are good (but rest of bar menu a bit pricey for the quality). Bartender (his name escapes me) working the terrace bar very competent and friendly. Pool area is a good space, but recommend going outside and down to the dock and mix with the locals too! Good to have a 24hr front desk available to solve any queries.

It is not the newest hotel in town. But they are doing some renovations and improvements.

The location of the hotel is very nice, along the waterfront, on 10 min walk of centre of angra do heroismo. Nice pool with possibility to go the open water.

Staff, very rude. Early check in was not an option even though we contacted the hotel weeks in advance. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm and we only had the room available at 4pm. This is for sure not a 4 star hotel. Also we found cockroaches in the hall to the rooms.

Parking entrance too small. Room windows don't close nor isolate very well (this is critical when close to the sea). AC does too much noise.

Localizacao, staff, restaurant, indoor pool, main facilities, all very very nice. I recommend this hotel.

The driveway to the covered hotel garage is very narrow, as are the parking spaces. It was impossible to get a large suitcase out of the back seat.

The hotel is located on a cliff by the Atlantic. The rooms are fine, with comfortable beds. You can walk to the city center. Wi-Fi is fast. The hotel has two great restaurants with delicious food.
