IrelandThe spa Could have been cleaner. A lot of hairs in the steam room. And you have to pay Euro 7 for a swimming cap. Plus in most hotels they give you free coffee in the room. One small cup of coffee cost 150.

This hotel was amazing the spa was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious food for everybody 😋, it was spotless absolutely immaculate, the staff here were so polite and friendly service top notch gold 🌟 for everybody I would seriously recommend it for anyone who wants to visit fatima.

United KingdomThe inflexibility and penny pinching let this hotel down. There is no kettle in the room only a Nespresso machine with coffee pods that are chargeable - I have never stayed at a 4 star hotel where there are zero complimentary tea/coffee in the room ; including water. The hotel wasn’t full; it was mid week, in low season but still on arrival at 1.30pm we were told we could not check in and to return at 3pm. We wanted to use the spa and it was 16.50 ; we were told that we must wait until 5pm and could only enter on the hour - the spa was empty! Not another guest in there, either before or after we had finished! I class myself as a world traveller +70 countries and have stayed in many, many hotels and this hotel strikes me as one where the staff require training in hospitality and customer service. There was absolutely no empowerment to make decisions based on common sense rather than what the computer says! Three very easy fixes would have made our stay excellent.
The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the shrine of Fatima. restaurant’s & cafes are a short walk away. The beds were very comfortable with a selection of pillows and room also had a spacious bathroom with both bath and bide. The hotel has a fabulous spa and each room is allowed 1 hour free.

United KingdomThe Initial communication was a bit negative, which is not what someone expects when is excited about planning a holiday In family. Also, this conservative approach (maybe aimed at lowering expectations was probably unnecessary) ‘We will try but may not be able to fulfill the request for rooms together’ - the hotel occupancy was clearly low (most rooms in our floor were empty) and my booking was well in advance.’ ‘ the spa needs to be booked at the right time 4pm or 5 pm but not 4.30’ - the swimming pool was virtually empty so it is difficultly understand this rule at this time of year and again creates unnecessary barriers… Perhaps this rules make sense when the occupancy is high but probably not necessary when it is low and it creates a not very friendly predisposition when people try to booking…

PortugalThe spa was a disaster. Freezing. And even when we pointed that out we were told that the temperature is what it should be. No idea what it should be, but everyone was freezing...and we did ask around. The pool water might have even been ok, but as the air temp. was not warm enough for a spa, then it was virtually unusable for anyone above 12 (because until that age the water could be 15 degrees and they would still claim they are not cold). The saunas were minuscules and allowed only one family (of 3) at a time. As the time at the spa was limited to 1 hour (?!?), that made it virtually impossible to enjoy the sauna (or basically warm up from the pool). People were literally queuing up to enter the saunas. The whirlpool...ha...had this great idea of warming up there, but no luck...the water going around was also cold! You could feel the cold stream coming up from the holes...brrr. So yes...not a fan of the spa. Didn't return for the second day, but was told the water was even colder. Go figure... Perhaps they keep it fresh for people not to linger too long? But really...was a far cry from a relaxing spa/pool visit I had invisioned when booking the hotel :( But...the kids enjoyed, so...8 out of 10 it is...
Great Hotel...not such a great Spa. The room was great, consisted of 2 rooms actually - perfect for a family. The lobby was very welcoming with plenty of comfy seating and a fireplace for added ambience :) There was a playroom for smaller kids as well. The restaurant was amazing - great food and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet also more than sufficient with lots of fruit, and plenty of sweet and savory options. The staff very welcoming.

United StatesI didn't figure this out right away but you may want to remind guests that the AC and lights only function when the card key is in the slot in your room. I thought the AC didn't work first night because I didn't know I have to leave the card key in the slot. However I really like this safety feature very ecological.
The breakfast was the best I ever had at any hotel. The food was high quality everything from cappuccino, fresh yogurt not packaged, whole nuts to Crack, honey from the hive, a variety of fruits, croissants and pastries, lunch meats, plus prepared foods like eggs, bacon, potatoes, and breads. There were lactose free and gluten free options. I love that this hotel is sustainable with motion lights in the hallways, an herb garden, the windows operate so that you can have fresh air instead of air conditioning, and that the lights, electricity, and AC are shut off when you take the card key out. Very smart, no waste. The food was so fresh it tasted as if it was from local grocers or farms. I loved the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna and used them every day. It made my trip so nice. Good idea to put a time limit and shower caps to keep it clean. I also like the location of this property. There is a lot if local boutiques to shop at nearby and an easy walk to the Basilica and bus station.

United StatesThe spa was a big disappointment. We tried to book for a massage and they kept telling us to call back and on the day we arrived, they told us that we had to prebook - WHAT? WE TRIED!!!! The front desk team was not as warm and friendly as the restaurant staff.
The hotel was very close to the Fatima shrine. the room is very cozy and comfortable. The restaurant and the servers are 10+ with the food and customer service.
