Quiet stay in a good location

This is nit-picky, but I think the rooms could use a little art or additional mirrors or something. When the blinds are closed it gives off cell vibes just because of all of the concrete. I love the modern design and the bold uses of color, but it's just a lot of concrete color/texture. Fully aware that doesn't impact sleep etc, but it would just make it a little more comfortable when you're hanging in the room.

I really liked the location of this hotel. The neighborhood behind the hotel is really lovely. We stayed on the first floor and found it to be very quiet which is the main thing I was looking for when booking our stay.

Very unique and upbeat. We were able to walk downtown and to LX Factory. Nice little pool and deck as well as bar for a drink. Very helpful for getting us a 6AM taxi.

Location isn't the best. IT's still pretty good. Excellent views from the terrace and it's only 25 / 30 min walk to the city centre. But there's not loads around the hotel in terms of restaurants or bars.

Excellent choice. Very nice hotel with an excellent business centre and a great terrace overlooking the river. Comfy rooms with an industrial modern design which I really liked, but it's not for everyone.

The safe was much too high for an average person to use easily/safely without a stool to stand on! The coffee machine on each floor, while a good idea, didn't work because the machines were mostly broken and wouldn't provide hot water. A simple kettle would be more effective. A fridge or water cooler would be very good.

The industrial chic decor, concept, staff and position were all very good. The room was comfortable and quiet. The roof top bar was lovely. We had a good stay and would recommend it.

Nothing really wrong with the place. If I had to stretch to find something, the stone/cement furniture in the lobby was odd and uncomfortable, but that is the only thing I could saw was a downside.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to landmarks but also convenient to get to the airport (only about 20 minutes). It has a very modern design, and the rooftop pool/cabana was great!! The breakfast in the morning was well worth the extra 15 euros. I really liked that the front desk was open 24-hours, and the staff generally spoke English very well, considering my basic Portuguese skills.

The bartender at the rooftop bar was not in a good mood at all and made a mistake with our order but made us feel like an inconvenience. Other than that, the stay was exceptional.

There was no milk at the tea and coffee stations on the floor, however the reception staff were only too pleased to supply it. The upstairs bar was pleasant enough apart from the constant aroma of sewage which spoilt it.

We didn't eat breakfast, but certainly from the hotel reception it looked very appetising. The room was clean and tidy and the reception staff were very helpful. The location was close to the harbour and waterfront. We used Uber taxis and all of the drivers knew exactly how to get to the hotel through the myriad of road works and road closures.

Friendliness of the reception/restaurant team altogether, just not up to expectations considering the rest of hotel. No 'we go out of our way to accommodate you' vibe.

Location was good, although not a lot going on in the area. Comfy and clean rooms (apart from the desk stool). Quiet even though it's close to a busy road. Convenient to get to the airport and the luggage storage room was great.

Only 2 things I'd adjust in that room #106: Put maybe some extra cushions or bamboo mat as visual privacy at the bottom part of the big window. Without it anyone walking by can see you lying on / in the bed. I resolved that by simply placing a few of the many big cushions there, all fine. And maybe also some lighter curtains as choice when you relax there during daytime - light enough to let daylight through, but giving a bit of visual privacy with the residential building right on the other side. Can imagine people living over there might appreciate that too, that kind of visual privacy of course goes 2 ways.

My stay at Jam Lisbon was a real pleasure. Clear, swift communication throughout, very attentive and friendly staff. Wonderful relaxed yet professional atmosphere in that hotel. And real evening / night silence in the rooms! The acoustic insulation just works which in our crazy times is worth to mention. I had #106. Generous comfortable space, bathroom featuring beautiful blue tiles. With huge bath tub. Love the industrial design concept of the rooms. All was spotless clean too. At the rooftop, lovely bar with great panoramic view. The swimming pool by size is for kids (or for your feet to cool down after a day up/down those Lisbon hills). So if you want to enjoy your drinks without shrieking little ones around, get there in the evenings. About the great free hot water and coffee offerings on each floor: Have to admit I did not pass the intelligence test without a moment of support so to spare similar embarrassment to some of you: The description placed near those coffee machines refers to the water supply crane next to them *not* to the coffee machine itself - once you know that all make humbling perfect sense and you can stop talking to or tickling the coffee machine. Breakfast buffet is tasty, rich and varied for those who prefer to have breakfast before going out. At €15,- (April 2024) I found it a bit expensive though, then again am not a morning breakfast person. So preferred the many convivial "kiosks" you find all around Lisbon, one of these at a few 100m from the hotel. Great alternative. Location is perfect if you want to be in the center (or Belem) quickly - a bus departs at a mere 200m, other buses and tram at 300m, metro and train to Belem are just 1 bus station (or a little braver walk - I had wounded feet so needed the bus) away. They also offer an airport shuttle service which I loved - at a very reasonable price. I certainly plan to get back to Jam Lisbon. Keep up the fine work and thanks again!

Location is okay, it's close to some things, but far from a lot of attractions. This isn't the biggest issue, but I would've liked more access to public transportation if this was the case. In addition, the room did not have a chair in it, which I think is very bizarre for a hotel. For the price of $150 per night or so, I would've expected there to be a chair. Overall I liked this hotel, a few flaws but it was a pretty comfortable stay.

Hard to think of something when you've loved everything about your stay. If I'm being extremely picky then it would be to provide milk alongside the coffee at the drinks station on the floors. Sorry but i just don't like black coffee.

This is one of Lisbon's hidden gems! From the moment we walked through the doors we knew this was something special. The pool and bar on the rooftop was exceptional! We really could relax with a beer and even had a game of table tennis. Everything about this hotel is quirky... especially all the engineering detail within the lifts. Don't forget to try the burger and chips as a great bar snack! I will be certainly coming back to the Jam hotel.

There were some complications with payment for a business trip but I honestly don't know if that was at the hotel end or the company end or at the booking.com end. I'd maybe increase the lighting in the room or move the mirrors because the huge bay window was gorgeous but all the mirrors were round a corner

The pillows were not good, too hard and thick. Breakfast was chaotic the first morning, many people having to wait. It would be nice to be able to finish after yourself, then this would have gone faster. Went better the other days.

It was nice for family, the bunkbead with privacy doors is a good idea. We were four and we got four keys and that was good. Cool that the soundproofing was good when you closed the window so the train didn't disturb our nightsleep.

    Pillows weren't the best

Loved this place, fun and funky. The room was beautiful, I enjoyed the reduced industrial style juxtaposed with colourful floral fabrics. The pool and bar on the roof was great fun (although a little more shade would have been appreciated) and the bar was good value for money. All the staff were nice and friendly. Within a short walk there are nice places to eat, or a short taxi ride from everything in downtown/uptown. Breakfast was also quite good.
