I had to leave the hotel because it had no available rooms on Easter Holidays. Some ladies that work there, immigrants, found my boots left there and when I asked the Reception if they had found it, they told me not. Since I have only 1 pair of Black Boots, 1 pair of Brown Boots, 1 Ballerina bought at Zara and 1 Chanel style shoes bought at Aldo, and a pair of Vigil Abloh sneakers with me, I knew it was missing there. I had also asked a store that I go in Paris, to send there my Chanel Bag, special collection, and they told me nothing. Only after I told them that I should notify the Police about that, they told me the Chanel Bag had arrived and the Black Boots found. Until then, I was very happy with the hotel that I chose to stay in Cascais. I went to another hotel, a little bit far from the city center, and when they had available rooms, I came back. The next day when I wanted to change rooms to a supposed better room, they told me I could enter the room only after paying the Diary. I was a little bit shocked, because stayed many nights there since January 2023. Just after that, 2 other girls arrived and the lady at the reception asked them to pay in advance. I had already paid. The girls told that someone from their work would pass by to pay for them, they just didn’t know if it would happen that night or the day before, and the lady at the reception said “Okay”. This is discrimination, no? Why different treatments? So I won’t come back there and won’t recommend it to anyone that asks me where to stay at Cascais. Another strange thing is that my devices were never charged the morning after. I thought that was very strange too.

Location is perfect and people that work at the reception also great!

Unfortunately there was renovation work going on outside my window in the building opposite,so it was noisy in the morning. No fault of the hotel, but it took away a bit from my experience of the place.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and pleasant room, central location

Our room was on the upstairs corner, which at first I thought was a fabulous bonus. But, with really loud music thumping until 2:30, even the ear plugs they provided didn't help. Great place, if you can sleep...

This is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are really comfy, bright and cheerful. Old world touches but brand new everything. Super showers. Absolutely amazing people - very accommodating. And the breakfast was truly wonderful.

The only downside is that the room is very noisy as it is right above some noisy bars that play loud music. The hotel provides earplugs and the music stops around midnight so not the end of the world.

Friendly staff, modern room which was well decorated. The location is very close to bars and restaurants.

There is a restaurant in the same building so the food smell wafts over into the room. It was particularly stronger in the bathroom.

Breakfast is by arrangement with a nearby (4 minute walk) cafe. That is fine but, personally, I liked it better when I stayed in December as then the arrangement was with a restaurant located on the ground floor of the same building. That way, you did not have to leave the building at all. Unforturtunately, that particular restaurant currently no longer opens for breakfast, but, I understand, will do so again from March.

Helpful reception personnel and good location

The noise that came from the square on Friday night and Saturday night was extremely loud and although earplugs are provided they didn’t really drown out any noise.

The property was modern and had everything that was required throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and it was between 7am-11am on the weekend and 7am-10:30am on the weekdays which meant we didn’t have to get up too early to eat. Only a 6 minute walk to the train station where you can catch the train to Lisbon which takes around an hour. Location is great for food choices and 3 minute walk to the beach.

Its right in the centre so at night you’ll hear music and the sounds of a vibrant city. Maybe not the best for light sleepers or young kids.

Great location. Lots of restaurants and the ocean almost right next to the hotel. Also easy walk to the station for the train to Lisbon. Authentic and yet modern Portugese style rooms.

My room was as at street level and I had to shield my self from passersby so my room was always a bit dark. I would have liked to know this before reserving. It was an unpleasant surprise. Three fittings in the bathroom were hardly screwed in and one fell off at a slight touch. None were ever fixed during my stay.

Good amount and the fruit was very fresh. I asked for a vegetarian breakfast and my cheese came neatly rolled on the same plate and touching a slice of meat. It would have been preferable not to be served meat at all.

Pillow was hard so pretty much slept to the end of it. Found previous guests soap bar and hair grip stuck to the shower rack. Just put it in the bin and cleaned it myself rather than make a fuss. Cleanliness was OK, hotel gets away with a lot at the moment because it is a relatively new hotel, but as it gets more worn they would need to make sure cleanliness was up to consistent standards.

My friend and I visited in September 2022. On the map it looks like a great location, but the location is even better in real life! We were in the middle of town, close enough to the beaches, restaurants, nightlife, bus and train stations, which meant we could comfortably explore! Amenities wise, I would compare to any other budget holiday inn/ibis type hotel, where you have your basics bed, wardrobe and bathroom with standing shower. There was no kettle/fridge in room. We were fine with this as we didn’t intend to stay long in the room and went out for breakfast every day. The coffee shops are a few steps away! They did have a Nespresso machine in reception so if you wanted a coffee, you could have one from there. Air conditioning worked well, just a little noisy sometimes, but we did so much exploring in the day we were too tired to notice much!

front of hotel rooms are very noisy from an adjacent club, so much so hotel supply guests with ear plugs! so obviously know it’s a problem. Club operates until 1a.m.If using again would want room at rear which were very quiet.
