Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicIt is on the ground floor, and there were cockroaches. Big ones! Not the fault of the flat owners it’s just something that happens in hot weather places when you live on the ground floor.
Location was beautiful! You could hear the Fado singers from the house. The second you walked out the old town was right there. Perfect location!

IrelandIt was quite cold in the apartment and we couldn’t get the air conditioning unit to work properly to blow warm air out. But there was a small oil heater that worked. it can be quite noisy but that’s because the buildings are historic.
This is our 2nd time staying here. The issues I mentioned in my last review where fixed. Great location close to lots of restaurants and cafes.

ItalyThe place was a bit cold and humid, with noises all around as the garbage bins were right by the bedroom window so local shop owners were unloading tons of empty glass bottles. I was expecting coffee pods or tea bags.
I loved the style of the furniture and the cleanliness. The shower is very spacious and the kitchen equipment was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly.

RomaniaAll we needed for our stay in Lisbon. The old neighbourhood is extremely charming and alive. No need to take buses or any other transportation as the location is perfect to walk from in any direction of the city. Would come back and stay here, next week if possible 😁

SpainThe kitchen didn't work for the first 2 days (out of 4) of our stay. We had to fix the issue ourselves by handling the electric board in the flat. The shutters in the main bedroom were broken throughout the whole stay, which prevented the main bedroom from having any natural light. The shutters in the living room were also broken but with the opposite issue, they could not be closed (as can be seen from the loose band on picture). Constructors came to look into these issues but had not fixed them by the time we left. The flat is loud. It's a basement flat and the neighbours load heating gas containers right outside of the bedroom window. Some of our windows did not close properly up till the constructors came. This made the noise even worse. It is a loud neighbourhood throughout the night, sometimes you feel like the noise is coming from inside the flat. The worst part of our stay was that we were locked out of the flat in our last evening there. We had to wait for an hour for the contractors to come and fix it. It was dark and raining, we could not retrieve our waterproof and warm clothes from inside the flat. Honestly we were lucky that this happened at 6pm and not later on in the evening, as it would have left 2 young women on the street with nowhere else to go. In all, it seemed like the flat hadn't been regularly checked previous to our stay. The issues we had would have been avoidable if "FeelsLikeHome" properly reviewed the flats to ensure that they were in satisfactory conditions. We were only there for 3 nights, so having these issues really impacted our time away. We shouldn't have had to put up with all this stuff.
The flat is located at the heart of Alfama.

IrelandThe shower tray was slow to drain the water but that’s just because it’s in a historical building. The door into the courtyard was very difficult to open, we actually thought we were at the wrong apartment but after some jiggling with they key we got in.
Nice apartment in Old Town Alfama. Great location to stay among the locals with lots of resteraunts and cafes around. Short walk to the waterfront and up to the castle and cathedral.

PortugalI went to pick up the studios keys from Urbano Hotel. And then i took the cab and went to unlock the studio, i was handed the wrong key which the receptionist of Urbano hotel and the manager didn't admit. I came from 7hourd flight and the cab couldn't enter the narrow street. Yes i yelled at the receptionist through the phons because i was so tired and she is like u neeed to wait 20mins for my colleague to arrive. So i yelled again ( with no threatening) and took a cab and went back to urbano hotel in order to find a solution because the building was so dark not even a light and scary atmosphere. I booked with them for two nights total of eur 100.00 which isn't refundable and all what i asked for to admit that i was handed the wrong key and receptionist wasn't fully professional neither the manager whom was off duty and they are like we can't do you anything. I tried discussing to rent a room in urbano hotel and pay the difference if it is more than eur 100. I was also answered we can't do you anything. The receptionist was nice but not fully professional i admit and having such a hotel management with bad service i no longer can add anything. The manager sent me a response that will keep the records for future complaints on booking, good luck on that no need to play it smart by adding salt and spice and say that I've threatened because i have all proofs too. Never again to book with urbano hotel and its premises. Happy late new-year too Sally

PortugalKitchen poorly equipped, no basics like dish soap, dish cloth, dish towel etc. Very uncomfotable couch, Garbage bins and stacks of propane tanks right outside the bedtoom window which were emptied between 11:30 pm and 1:30 am (garbage) Propane tanks clanking from 7:30 am. Noisy from lots of loud conversations outside.
Right in Alfama, close to Santa Appolonia station. Lots of places to eat, get basic groceries
