First of all, the smell. Unfortunately there are some drainage issues which make the whole room smell a little like sewer, covering the shower drain helps a bit but not much 😑 Also it was pretty noisy outside and room door was not fitted well enough so it let through the light and noise from corridor at night. Another thing is the shower which could not be held in place and it was a little bit dirty as well

Great location. A beautiful, big and comfortable room. Using access codes instead of keys was very comfortable as well.

The hotel is located in a very vibrant arena with lots of great bars and lunch places. The room was ideal for a short stay. Very comfortable bed.

Our bathroom was located across the hall from our room (which we knew when we booked). It wasn't a deal breaker, buy it for would've been nice to have an ensuite.

We enjoyed the Lisbon Check-in Guesthouse. The staff were very helpful upon check-in. Our room was comfortable. Located just outside main tourist areas. Convenient that there was an elevator. The shared kitchen was also convenient to make breakfast in the morning and to keep our drinking water cool.

We had a great stay. The room was very spacious, clean and with tasteful design. Everything worked well, check in was really easy and quick. We were especially delighted with Joao, who runs the place. He contacted us the day of our arrival giving us very clear instructions on how to get to the guesthouse and how to access ( all doors work conveniently with access codes). He was super friendly, welcoming and flexible, accommodating to our travel schedules, responding quickly to our messages whenever we had a question and was always quick in offering to help and assist us. There are a couple of very lively bars/restaurants just outside the guesthouse,which is great if you like to join in with the crowd of young people to have a bite to eat or drink. In the beginning we were a bit worried about noise, but were happy to find that the windows are very well isolated and we didn't hear the hustle and bustle from the street. The guesthouse is not in the most centric or nicest part of town, but it seemed like an area that is up and coming. 10 min walking to Pink street and 20 min to the old town. Definetely great value for money, especially with a spacious room which we didn't find anywhere nearer to the oldtown.

The bathroom had a weird smell and I couldn't turn off the toilet ventilator (I think that was shared between two rooms? no idea), so I had to listen to that annoying sound very late in the evening and early morning hours. The walls are not very noise cancelling so I could hear screaming children from the rooms to mine.

Location is amazing just 5min from Cais do Sodre metro. The area has a vibrant nightlife and locations like the Time Out Market and the Elevador da Bica are close by. The staff are also very friendly and the room was super clean.

The guesthouse is a shared apartment floor with other rooms on the same level so the noise from other guests can be quite loud. The bathroom was across the hallway so you have to leave your bedroom to access it.

We arrived late so the self-checkin was brilliant and simple. The guesthouse is in a great central location with lots of bars and restaurants surrounding it. The rooms were basic but very clean, had great air con, a window and the beds were very comfortable.

Someone kept ringing the doorbell for quite a while in the middle of the night. Party down in the street went on all night, so the room is not suitable for light sleepers who get disturbed of noise.

Location was good. Several restaurants nearby, not too far from the Time Out market and other sights either. Room was very spacey, nicely designed and clean, as well as communal kitchen and living room. Staff was very nice and helpful.
