Loved everything about Lisbon Surf Hostel. Staff and volunteers were super friendly and the property was kept very clean. It's close to the beach and train station, making it easy to check out the waves of the region. It also had board racks and a place to rinse and dry wetsuits. Probably the best kitchen setup I've seen in a hostel too. I extended my stay many times and will definitely be back soon!

Very nice atmosphere and interior/style! Also fully equipped kitchen, big living/dining room and nice bathrooms. The location is perfect, 7min by foot to the next supermarket, restaurants, beach. Train and bus stations are close (3min)

So perfect! The pool and set up is amazing. Lots of space and super comfy beds. Plenty of outdoor space including a patio for the yoga classes. Really recommend Ali's morning vinyasa! The property also has surf classes at the beach.

There is nothing I did not like - this place should serve as a role-model for other hostels.

Everything. Most importantly the great team of staff members and volunteers who provide support whenever you need it. While the volunteers are mainly great for the vibe inside the hostel and among guests, the founding team provides extraordinary support in regards to surf spots (how to approach them, when to go there, what to be careful with, etc.), traveling Lisbon and the area around. I have even seen some of them giving language support to a language student who was studying. You can book theoretical and practical surf classes with local legends from Carcavelos. This place is as close to perfection as it gets. Seriously, if you want to stay in the Lisbon area and explore not only downtown Lisbon but the area around as well, go here. The place is located in the perfect spot, close to public transport, with easy highway access, the beach not even 5 minutes away... Everything was clean and well-maintained, it is obvious that some passionate people put all their heart into this project. Here you will not feel like in one of these hostel factories that have popped up all over the globe, where young guests get put into a cheap location for cheap money. However, it is the contrary. Some young and nice locals fulfil their own dream to run a hostel - and they live that dream to the fullest. Have never been welcomed to a surfspot with such warmth and care. Thank you for everything, we will meet again soon!

The bunk room we stayed in was cramped for size and the upper bunks were very close together. I saw other rooms that were larger. Ask for a larger space!

The staff and people are so so friendly and helpful. A fantastic service. The hostel is new and very clean, well organized and a lovely atmosphere. We are older travelers and were welcomed by all the younger travelers. Right by train station and easy walk down to beach. Excellent surf. A wonderful hostel.

Nice and clean place, owners super friendly and kind, I was alone in the room. Really nice swimming pool, barbecue, skate. There is space and utilities to store and wash surfboard and stuff, cool!

I stayed in a dorm in an upper bed , but unfortunately the ceiling was too close to the bed so I had to be careful to not bang my head against the ceiling when I get up

The kitchen was a little small, so when several people wanted to cook, there was no space. Other than that nothing.

The breakfast was great, we liked that we had different options. And the options were Well-varied and tasty. The whole vibe was great, and it felt like Home. We liked that the hostel felt like an open community, and that everyone was there to meet new people and have a good time. We even became so close with other residents that we met with them several times after. When we visited, the hostel was very new, so it felt like we were part of making it as homey as possible. Every small problem we had was taken into consideration.

I had a great time at Lisbon Surf Hostel. The location was good and the staff was really nice and helpful. On the evenings there where a lot of different events which was really nice to meet people. I can really recommend to stay at this hostel

This hostel was amazing. I stayed here with a friend. We enjoyed staying here a lot and were surprised by the amazing activities organised by the hostel owners. The breakfast was great and the facilities as well. Highly recommend this place and would book again.

The property appeared new and modern , has bathroom inside of my room (😆) ,new kitchen, nice living room and dining space!! Also Has the airport shuttle service ( I used it at 5:30am)👍

Excellent staffing, always extra staff standby for assistance. They know each guest and assist individual needs. Very friendly staff, make you feel very comfortable!

The rooms were a bit small and narrow but the beds were big and there was enough space to store your things.

The place was always very clean and good organized! The staff is very nice and ready to help you at all times. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need. They also have a very nice pool!
