Nothing really. We just did not realise the bed would be rather small but as there is another one in the room, it can be used if one is in need of space

The house is in a quiet area yet within walking distance of the center. The room we had was very clean. We also very much enjoyed being able to do a few laps in the pool at the end of the day

A lovely small hotel in a quiet neighbourhood but very easy to walk into the old city. Susanna was delightful and so helpful including ringing multiple taxi companies when I lost my phone, booking day trips and providing great local (less touristy) food recommendations . A real gem I will stay there again.

Everything! We loved the beds and bedding, and our stay was perfect in every way. HUGE thank you to Susana and Luchino for making everything extra special for us. We look forward to coming back. We really enjoyed the pool and seating area and honor bar as well.

Maison Cabral is a lovely boutique hotel in a beautifully restored historic building in a quiet but very convenient area of Porto. It is extremely well managed and well maintained with lots of character. You can tell that much thought went into the modern design and higher end fixtures and finishes. The owners and staff are very professional and helpful. We took their suggestions for nearby restaurants and walking routes and were not disappointed. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Do not hesitate to book Maison Cabral! The perfect location for starting your walks around Porto, and our apartment (Wapa, the one with the loft) was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Susana communicated with us before the trip and through our flight delays. She was consistently warm and welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay, plus always made sure we had local recommendations on places to dine. The honor bar was well-stocked and very nice to have available to us. The apartment was cleaned and made up each day while we were out. Our apartment overlooked the street below, so if you are sensitive to noise you might want to consider that but we took a sound machine and it was no issue. Also, there is a house cat, Luchino, who would be in the reception area when we get back each day and our daughter loved, so if you are allergic then you might choose another location. Overall, we would stay here again and it made our first trip to Porto very special.

I can honestly say that the place and the staff made our stay in Porto better then it would have been in any other hotel.

I cannot say enough great things about this charming place! The room was well appointed, amazingly clean and comfy! The service was A+! Suzanne was so helpful and friendly. We are now in Lisbon wishing our place here was as nice as Maison Cabral…! Luchino the kitty was the cherry on top!

The reception upon arriving was exceptional. The rooms are very very clean and comfortable. It was raining and a Sunday when we arrived so places to eat were all closed. The place is like row houses in different state of remodel and all have the potential of being very interesting as does the area. Again we arrived at a bad time and left early the next morning so cant say too much about the area. Id say the remodel is first class but you may find the rooms on the small side but really are adequate. You well be very welcomed here!

Glorious property; clean, bright, the owners were amazingly helpful and friendly. Really superb stay. Location is great, only a 10 minute walk to shops / bars and 20 minutes to the river.
