Our stay at Maison Cabral exceeded all our expectations – making it a very special stay and a place we would recommend to everyone. Maison Cabral is beautiful inside and out, with lovely decor, spacious rooms that are clean and well presented, outside you are treated to a beautiful garden which also has a lovely pool to use after a busy day walking the streets of Porto. Maison Cabral is perfectly situated, which allowed us to walk around Porto with ease. A big shout out to Susana, Alberto and Luchino for making us feel so welcome, and going above and beyond to help us have a brilliant stay, from letting us kindly check in early, Alberto with his fabulous knowledge and recommendations of Porto and Suzana making sure I could get extra cuddles with the beautiful Luchino! We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Susana, Alberto, and Luchino for making our stay so memorable. We would highly recommend Maison Cabral to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly and convenient place to stay in Porto. We look forward to returning in the future!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, from the friendly WhatsApp messages recommending places to go, to being welcomed by the wonderful Susana, from the BEAUTIFUL bedroom to the fantastic shower... It was a truly great stay in a small hotel, perfect for a girls weekend away! The atmosphere is low key, relaxed luxury. The location is also excellent, we really enjoyed the nearby area - great independent restaurants, shops and bars.

The decor was lovely - traditional building, with great rooms, and a balcony. The pool was excellent and a welcome bonus for a central hotel. Staff were great, and provided some welcome insights to places to see, eat, and enjoy !

Our room was a little dark and wasn’t to my taste in decor but that is a personal thing. Would have liked a long mirror in the room.

Maison Cabrel is a sanctuary from the busy hussle and bussle of Porto. As soon as you arrive you feel calm and happy. The warm welcome and great advice from Alberto was invaluable. After a busy day out sightseeing to come back to a dip in the pool and honesty bar it was perfect. We cannot wait to return.

The house is in a quiet area yet within walking distance of the center. The room we had was very clean. We also very much enjoyed being able to do a few laps in the pool at the end of the day

A lovely small hotel in a quiet neighbourhood but very easy to walk into the old city. Susanna was delightful and so helpful including ringing multiple taxi companies when I lost my phone, booking day trips and providing great local (less touristy) food recommendations . A real gem I will stay there again.

Maison Cabral is a lovely boutique hotel in a beautifully restored historic building in a quiet but very convenient area of Porto. It is extremely well managed and well maintained with lots of character. You can tell that much thought went into the modern design and higher end fixtures and finishes. The owners and staff are very professional and helpful. We took their suggestions for nearby restaurants and walking routes and were not disappointed. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Do not hesitate to book Maison Cabral! The perfect location for starting your walks around Porto, and our apartment (Wapa, the one with the loft) was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Susana communicated with us before the trip and through our flight delays. She was consistently warm and welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay, plus always made sure we had local recommendations on places to dine. The honor bar was well-stocked and very nice to have available to us. The apartment was cleaned and made up each day while we were out. Our apartment overlooked the street below, so if you are sensitive to noise you might want to consider that but we took a sound machine and it was no issue. Also, there is a house cat, Luchino, who would be in the reception area when we get back each day and our daughter loved, so if you are allergic then you might choose another location. Overall, we would stay here again and it made our first trip to Porto very special.

I can honestly say that the place and the staff made our stay in Porto better then it would have been in any other hotel.

I cannot say enough great things about this charming place! The room was well appointed, amazingly clean and comfy! The service was A+! Suzanne was so helpful and friendly. We are now in Lisbon wishing our place here was as nice as Maison Cabral…! Luchino the kitty was the cherry on top!
