I'm sorry I have to say this because i promised to rate well but I couldn't sleep well because I had a lot of bites from moving creatures like bed bugs. They bit me many times that I woke many times to pick them out of the bed and my clothes. They were bloody.

The staff was very helpful, the bathrooms and toilets were okay. The room and bed were comfortable.

The place is not at all able to receive people. - as soon as you enter the hostel, you feel a strong smell of insecticide, incense and frying. It's horrible! - they don't speak Portuguese and very bad English, so the communication is terrible! - there is only one bathroom for all rooms, with only ONE shower for all people. This shower is even in a tiny space without a window or crack in the door (yes, there is no key in the bathroom). - the beds are full of mold and smell bad. As I had booked, I had to stay in the place for two days and only saw them making the beds. They didn't change any bed linen during those days. - I found spiders and bedbugs in the rooms, according to photos. - There is no towel service. -I arrived in the summer and the room didn't have air conditioning or even a fan. They leave the window open, which leaves the room full of mosquitoes and mosquitoes. - Still about the room, the window is straight to the street, so all night long you hear people on the street screaming, listening to music, drunk and all kinds of noise possible all night long. Impossible to sleep! - There is a kitchen, but it is forbidden to be used by guests! - A very serious point is that they wanted to charge me a €50 shorts at the entrance! In other words, I only recommend it to those who want to be angry and disgusted during their stay. This place is dirty, noisy, without the basics such as a bathroom or shower and with a team without any service capacity. In fact, if you notice the positive comments here, they are all Indians/nepales who are friends of the owners of the place and with that, forged! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Be careful, bedbugs! I didn’t sleep all night, I was bitten by bedbugs in a room on the first floor. Apparently no one changes the bed every time, this is my opinion, because the sheet shows traces of blood of crushed insects by the previous guest (which I did not immediately pay attention to), perhaps it does not wash. When I woke up at night from bites and turned on the light, there were bugs on the wall and below the bed of the second level. All the sleeping clothes in which I slept had to be thrown away.

The hostel is in the heart of the city and well connected by public transportation. In few minutes it is easy to get at cathedral by walk. The hostel is on one of main street of Porto with many cafes, restaurants and shops. I have also appreciated clients receptions managed by Alex, a kind and available person.

Some of the toilets were problematic but ours were fine and clean. The showers were unusable though - no locks and just direct view to everybody in the hallway.

There is nothing I do not like.

The rooms are very clean. The toilets are also very clean. The location is very good, you can easily walk to any tourist attractions. There are mini markets (they called it minipreco) nearby where you can get water, or any other essential stuff easily. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, they allowed us for early check in and even upgraded us to a four-people room when we actually booked for a 6-people one, to fulfil my request for having my friend and I to be located in the same room together. Staff were so nice that they will always make sure with us that everything is fine.
