The location of the hotel is excellent. The stuff is very kind and helpful, especially thanks to Louis. It is very clean but for myself should have a better price ratio.

The only downside was that the room cleaning. It happened twice that we found the room not attended to upon our return late afternoon but Luiz followed up immediately and made sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing location steps from many sights and restaurants. I loved the tasteful blend of old charm and modern amenities. Delicious breakfast buffet and free coffee and cake in the afternoon. Luiz at the reception was extremely nice and helpful and added to the success of our stay.

We wish the hotels (it goes for all hotels not just this one) would stop spraying disinfection and using chemical smells.

First we liked a super kind Loiuse:) Thank you for being there for all our requests. Location of hotel is amazing and the way the owners have renovated the part of the building once belonged to the famous church is astonishing. We loved breakfast and tea time in the afternoon, really nice gesture.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect and the breakfast provided each morning was delightful. It really set you up for the day. I really enjoyed the nespresso machine.

The location was perfect, with everything within a short walking distance. The view from the rooms was incredible, as was the actual rooms themselves. Extremely clean & ready to help/kind staff. We were very pleased to extend our stay, in order to see all of Porto. We were grateful for amazing breakfasts, to give us the energy to do so. Thank you so much for a great experience !

The polished marble floor in the shower was slippery and dangerous when taking a shower. They could fix that by placing a rubber mat or something like it in the shower to prevent serious injuries from happening.

Hotel is centrally located in the City and is right next to the Douro river walk. Excellent free breakfast and hotel staff exceeded my expectations.

Great location, hotel was charming and clean. The staff was all very nice and helpful and just delightful. We got great recommendations for meals, parking was easy. The breakfast was delicious and a good variety of food, and well organized. Complimentary cake in afternoon and port in the evening.

Only drawback was the control of heat and ventilation which seemed not to work despite changes made on the console in the room. The window did however ensure that ventilation were at an OK level.

A Great but smaller hotel perfectly located close to Douro River. Very welcoming staff - always happy to help. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended if you like a central hotel with nice staff and can live with rooms a bit to the small side.

The only minor point I would make is the need for a hat & coat hook in the room to hang an outdoor coat.

We couldn't fault the hotel. The room was perfect for a weekend break with all you need. The bathroom was large with a very good shower. The staff couldn't be more helpful or efficient and the breakfast was a delicious continental selection with fresh bread each day and a good selection of fruit and savoury goods. One bonus was the use of the dining room during the day for tea or coffee and the bonus of a fresh cake each afternoon.

The bed was not as comfortable as others have been. There was some noise heard from other rooms (snoring)

The location was really good for us. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Everything is kept very clean. Breakfast was great and the 24 hr availability of coffee was appreciated.
