Maria is a lovely host and the breakfasts she provided were amazing and very filling. Especially loved the welcome treats. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Situated in the old town so all the restaurants and shopping were all within walking distance.

Very nice hostess, the bed is super comfortable. We had the blue room which is very spacious and had a balcony. Merry's house is located right in the center of Lagos.

Note that the pipes in this area have a strong odor specially at night, nothing that can be done from the host's side but it takes some time to get used to it.

Lovely guesthouse in the center of Lagos, easy access to everything you need in town like groceries and restaurants, close to the beach, several hike routes, etc. Communication with Maria was very good and she regularly checked that everything was well and if I needed anything. Check-in and out experiences flexible and very easy instructions. I particularly enjoyed the room with the inner balcony as it had sun all morning and was a perfect spot for a relaxed coffee with a book before starting the day. Access to kitchen, air-conditioning in the room and toiletries were a plus. I was there during winter break in February so it was quiet during the weekdays with some faint party street noise on the weekend that wasn't disturbing for me.

- There was quite a bit of noise coming from the street during the evening (partying, yelling, dogs barking). We understand that this isn't within the control of Merry's House, but having earplugs will help you sleep a bit better!

Not a big deal for us (since we were tired every day), but since we were during the weekend to mention, even though insulation is good, we could still hear the bass from club next to the house, till some hours after midnight and occasionally youngsters yelling around. Parking, there is a free one 10ish minutes from the apartment. We have parked in the paid one (Anel Verde) for 8 euros/24 hours, which is also 10 mins on the foot from the house. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and for sure we will come back again.

House is located right in the city center, meters from main streets with restaurants, 10 minutes from marina etc. Big spacious room with balcony, comfy bed, big bathroom, super clean, TV with international channels. Get this room (Lilac) as it has sea view from the balcony.

The room was spacious and very comfortable! Maria was an excellent host who promptly answered all our questions and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, etc. The house was very centrally located and we could easily walk to the beaches, Marina, restaurants and pretty much everywhere we wanted to go!
