The hair dyer in the room. It did not have power to dry hair. When we called the front desk, they said the hair dryer was already being used by another guest. Investing in proper hair dyers would be appreciated for future guests.

Staff did not go out of their way to please and wouldn't handle any "special requests". Had to pay extra for nearly everything including the room safe.

The room was very nice and clean with a large terrace balcony and a great view. Free parking. The shower water pressure was phenomenal like in a Seinfeld episode.

I stayed for one night, the room was quite simple, but I liked the balcony and the bed was comfortable. There’re 2 pools, an outdoor pool which looked very clean and ready to be used, but it was still quite called for me to swim outside in March. But I used the indoor pool, the water was pleasantly warm, unfortunately, the sauna wasn’t working, but there was a jacuzzi too. What really surprised me was the breakfast and the interior of the breakfast room, loved it. The breakfast was very rich and tasty, a many choices for everyone. Plus the staff at the breakfast were the kindest.

Reception customer service wasn't impressive. Told us on the phone when we requested something, "You should not use..... you are not allowed.... I need to ask my manager..." What? Gave us a big lesson. Not happy to start the day there. Why not just say something like, "sorry about that. I will get back to you in few minutes...."

Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Communication was prompt and helpful. Appreciated early checkin and free on site in the open car parking. The included buffet breakfast was ample with plenty of variety. Great location-we were able to walk to watch sunsets over the ocean and a great choice of restaurants and cafes near by within easy walking distance. Noise factor was an issue. Very noisy people in room next to us. Hallway sounded like an echo chamber.

The reception staff were not very friendly and was not told when checking in we needed to hire a lock for the safe and pay a deposit nor the free WiFi code. The sliding wardrobe doors and also the curtains were really hard to use, the bedside tables had beautiful but large lamps so no room for anything else. The housekeeping staff we encountered were morose and the time for cleaning our room varied from late morning to anytime in the afternoon the latest being after 5pm not ideal when you want an afternoon rest or to get ready for an evening out.

The buffet breakfast was very good and the morning waiting staff efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and we had a large terrace. The location is perfect very near beach,restaurants and transport.

The sunloungers are not the comfiest to lie on all day and whilst I appreciated the small head contraption providing shade from the sun on my head/face, I don’t think it would provide enough shade for the summer heat of June - August where the UV is a lot higher. If anyone burns easily this could cause you an issue.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. In a great location and the breakfast was great for what we wanted. Beds in the rooms extremely comfortable. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We rented a car while in the Algarve and the hotel has a large parking lot that takes the worry out of finding a parking spot. It was one of the determining factors when booking here. The amenities such as the swimming pool with bar are an added bonus for those that would like to catch some sun away from the beach.

There was no water/tea coffee facilities in the room. Room is due an update to match the communal areas. Indoor pool area could be made more of. I didn't realise you could have towels at a deposit so had to buy a pool towel.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast had a good selection. Pool area was nice and communal areas well kept. The staff were very friendly to myself and my 5 month old daughter. Room as a good size as was the balcony

The staff all some quite serious , it would be nice to see more smiles and the bedrooms need updating but we would definitely return .

Great location with fabulous restaurants and bars close by . Great coastal walks and lovely beach cove in the centre of Carvoeiro. Nice pool and bar , great breakfast selection
