this resort is very noisy. After a long day when you just want to rest, the rest of the clients are ready to party down. I cannot count how many nights I was awoken by clients coming home yelling and screaming on their way to their rooms (at 5 am) If you are looking for rest this is not the resort to come to.

The hotel is old and in need of renovation across the entire site. Cleaning was basic. We were on the floor just below the dining room - although we had a beautiful view and a very large wrap-around balcony - the noise from people scraping their chairs above was truly bad. Soundproofing between rooms is non-existent - so definitely take ear-plugs! In spite of the enthusiasm and effort of the team - the entertainment left rather a lot to be desired...! My final gripe - although the hotel is located on the beach - sun loungers and umbrellas here (not around the pools) were charged at 20 Euros a day (1 umbrella and 2 loungers). It's the first time I have ever been to a beach hotel where there's a charge to use the facilities. It's worth noting as if you're going specifically for the beach and hoping to use the facilities - then this could be quite a significant addition to your costs.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Very informative and helpful - Carla at reception was outstanding - and deserves a special mention. The staff in the restaurant were consistently numerous and always smiling (it really does make a difference - so this was really lovely). In spite of the 'aged' hotel (stuck somewhere circa 1994) - the food was very, very good. There was such a variety - so many lovely, healthy dishes (I was worried it was going to be 'everything with chips' - but this was absolutely not the case at all). Everything was always replenished, both at breakfast and dinner - and there was such a vast choice - I really couldn't find fault. The hotel is situated far enough out of the town for it not to impact one's stay - yet is easily reached if necessary in a 10 minute taxi ride. The hotel also has direct (easy) access to a long beach - which was lovely for walks etc.

Rooms were great and we had a sea view too. Drinks and food were all fine and as we were a group of 10 people suited us. Pool area was also fine with no issues getting a sunbed. It is located on the beach and you can walk easily to the old town .

There was no hair dryer and the airconditioner looks a bit old but still does the job though.

The rooms only had single beds which they will join together for couples (I asked for a double bed prior and they said they don’t have any just single beds joined), which is fine for friend groups obviously uncomfortable for a couple. The hotel is a bit dated and we were in the older building, but it is in line with the price in the end of the day. The restaurant felt a bit small and we went in April so I would imagine it gets very busy in summer hence the meal rotations. At dinner, the section with breaded foods wasn’t under a heater so it wasn’t hot, which I did read about before, and I was scared that all food is cold but it’s just that one section and there’s a microwave if you really want to have any of these stuff. The rest is fine and warm. I think only on one of the days the food selection at dinner was bad, the others however were fine.

The rooms were cleaned daily and they changed our towels. The bar staff was friendly and the all inclusive was good. The meals were alright, we never really did lunch cause we just stayed by the pool and had those snacks, but breakfast and dinner were fine apart from like certain days for dinner where the selection was not good. Breakfast was the same every day but it was good. Overall, we actually had a very nice holiday and didn’t have any major issues that took away from our experience. I think I would recommend the hotel for stays outside of the season, going for some winter sun. I haven’t been there in summer but I would imagine the quality goes down with more people as you would expect.

Location of the hotel is perfect. Pool area is lovely and rooms were much bigger than expected. Cleaners came everyday with fresh towels. Food selection each day was really good

That there only was a fridge. No oven, cookery nor anything to eat/cook with. Probably cause of the all inclusive one could buy but we didn't have that.

I only had a room booked for one night. Check-in was easy, I was able to do it before 3 pm and leave my bag there, and then just come back for the key later on. The hotel/building itself is huge as it has separate buildings where to stay. Ours was very close to the sea and the view was nice. Room was good enough, bed pretty comfy and had a fridge as used to have a kitchenette.

Some features could use some updating. One of the lifts was not functional and some of the bathroom fixtures were loose.

Location was exceptional. Food and drinks were wonderful and the staff were fantastic! Pool was great and the sun beds were very comfortable! A special mention for the entertainment staff, they made our trip such a joy! They were upbeat, positive and did such a good job of getting everyone involved in the activities.

The noise level was totally unacceptable if you are on the 7th floor of the main building the restaurant and kitchens are above and from 6am until 11pm the noise of the kitchen and chairs being scraped across the tiled floor was truly unbearable you will not get away from it

The location of this hotel to the beach was fantastic and a short walk to the old town of Albufeira

The rooms are not like in the pictures There are very basic - very cleaned as the cleaners come daily but too basic to my taste Shelves are lacking in the bathroom as well as heating towel rack - also there was no hairdryer

Buffet food was good although the timings are very limited ( eg a bit too early for Breakfast and dinner...)
