The hosts were very kind and helpful during our trip. The house was fantastastic for a family of three (one baby), and the owners did everything to make the house feel like home for us. They even put aside some toys! The area is stunning - for birdwatching especially. The hosts also gave some very helpful tips to find some rare birds in the area. The pool was also a very big plus!

All was perfect

Peaceful location. Perfect to wind down . Plenty of villages to visit nearby and you can also spend a lot of time on the propriety walking around , the weather was not perfect during our stay so we will be back again another time to experience it. There is a drivable dirt road for the last 5-10 mins of drive, just to be aware .

This place is a paradise to relax and unwind. Alexandra is a great host and she even helped us planning my birthday dinner in a super nice restaurant in Mertola. She will give you plenty of information of what to see and do in her property and in the villages nearby. We stayed in the T0 villa that had a small kitchen that had no stove, but we managed anyway to prepare something for dinner! If you have charcoal, there are some bbqs that you can use.

we spent 3 day in the Monte da Aparica Villa 1. Very quite and brilliant Villa. Better then expected. The fotos 100% accurate. Very clean everything really good. This is the place when you want to come down completely. The host is brilliant, helpful, fast & reliable. Highest Recommendation for this villa. But don’t expect to go easy by walk to a restaurant or something similar ideally you bring something to bbq and just stay in the beautiful environment in and around the Villa.

Everything was beautiful and very comfortable. Very quite surrounding with a lot of birds (storks breeding in front of the villa) and I even found otters at the close by lake. The owner were very helpful and kind. A place to feel home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely return. Jorge and Alexandra are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed nature walks nearby and the wide variety of birdlife. We saw the great bustard, little owl, hoopoe, bluebird and many more just nearby the farm. Thank you Alexandra and Jorge for having us!

It was stunning in every aspect! We loved the peacefulness and tranquility. A fantastic breakfast we could not have been better looked after in every way!

The Villa was lovely and comfortable and in a great location. Alexandra and Jorge are perfect hosts and we were given so much useful information from Alexandra of where to visit and lovely restaurants to go to and that made our stay so much better. Jorge's bird and nature tour was really good and we got to see such a variety and also a history of the beautiful estate.

Amazing place! We fell in love with the view, the beautiful design and the infinity pool. This place is full of character and the hostess was very friendly. We have a baby and everything was there to have a nice stay. Also perfectly clean and very comfortable beds. The region is more than worth to visit.

An amazing place run by lovely hosts Alexandra and Jorge. A perfect location to get into a "zen" state. Great breakfast. Perfect location to explore the beautiful Castro Verde area or just to spend time on the farm. From the infinity pool you can see amazing sun sets. Also a great place for horse and bird lovers with very special, colorful birds (e.g. Bee Eaters, European Rollers and Little Owls) that are rare or very rare in other places of Europe.

Great views, perfect setting with the swimming pool and privacy for each unit, super comfortable with every little detail thought through. The host was very kind, attentive and always available. We came for 5 nights with our baby and ended up never wanting to leave. Will definitely return.
