Having to purchase swimming caps for the pool, even for short hair man.

The hotel grounds (vineyard) are serene, the room was spacious and beautiful, staff were very friendly. The highlight of our stay was the dinner, we took the degustation menu with wine pairing. A bit pricey in local terms, but very tasty and generous in wine (a whole bottle was provided for each dish...)

It's an expensive stay but if you are in the mood to splurge, it's a great experience

Its a really superb place to spend two days lazing around. The spa is great, the restaurant and wine experience is great, they have 2 pools and the rooms are in the middle.of the wineyards so lots of walks possible. It's lush, green and a great way to spend time relaxing

Nothing!

Everything! Everything about our stay at the Monverde was just wonderful. The staff went the extra mile in terms of small things that make a really big difference, from a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, to special shampoo and shower gel for kids left by the bath for our two year old son! The location was beautiful and the food exquisite. We shall certainly be returning to Monverde.

Amazing estate with vineyards around. Beautiful setup, modern and specious rooms with good and qualitative furniture, very comfortable bed. Great place to have a walk through vineyards to SPA and restaurant. Very nice, modern restaurant with good breakfast. Recommend to everyone!! I will be back :)

We did not have a great experience at the restaurant but the breakfast, pool bar and room service meals were great.

Our hotel room was spacious, quiet, private, with stunning views! The staff was welcoming and very helpful. We booked massage treatments in the spa which were great and we really enjoyed the wine tasting session. The pool bar was lovely and the food there was very good.

Really nice place and facilities. Great staff, everyone speaks English and is very nice. Swimming pool and SPA was really nice. The heated pool wishes to be warmer. Lacks jacuzzi.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that we had to wear a swimming cap for the pool. We did a lot of spa around the world and i design spa as an architecte in my country, and never we had to wear a swimming cap or had to buy one to be able to go in a hotel pool.

breakfast was delicious! Also, the room was beautiful and had an amazing view. We had dinner at the restaurant and the snack bar and it was perfect. The staff was so great and made us feel really great and we felt that they took care of us.

Entrance/hall/foyer area VERY dark…def needs more lighting.

The property in its entirety…all of the lovely details from the grounds to the suite interiors to the reception area were fantastic! A++
