I think there should be more focus on live music. Some entertainment at night would be great.

It was slightly noisy at night due to dogs barking or other guests making noise but our room was by the lift so probably why. Little bit of a walk into central town but we knew that before booking and were happy to travel in a couple of kilometres.

Loved the decor of the hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great value drinks by the pool, comfortable beds.

The pool is small and quite shallow, and on our first day the water was pretty gross and dirty. It was significantly better the rest of our stay though, so that seems to be an uncommon occurrence.

Cool industrial aesthetic, record player with decent sound quality soundbar in the room and a fun vinyl library you can peruse and borrow records from. Comfortable bed, good AC, relaxing lounge area by the pool!

The bed is unfortunately too hard for us. Therefore, if your partner moves slightly you can feel it directly. And the location doesn't look that safe

We had to leave

Our stay at Mouco was a wonderful way to start our vacation in Porto. The welcome and orientation by friendly, helpful staff after a very long journey was greatly appreciated. The architecture. fracilities indoor and out are a real pleasure. Breakfast was excellent. This is not a chain hotel, it is a hidden gem. I wish we had the same experience in Lisbon.

The rooms are nice, with a closed off bedroom and a living area, but the hotel seems a bit undecided on what it wants that to be. A few little tweaks could make a big difference: there's the standard notice about hanging your towel, but nowhere to hang it. There's a little table next to a big TV, too close to watch. A couch with a low table would work better, or put the TV in the bedroom. They provide a kitchenette, but you need to ask for any cookware (and according to the sign, pay extra if you want to do your own dishes!) Why not provide some basics, and perhaps a moka pot to make coffee in the room (in-room coffee is listed on Booking, but not actually provided).

This is a really nice hotel. With a few tweaks, it could be amazing. The concept is neat, the rooms are nice & comfy. We generally just enjoyed the building, and had a nice time relaxing in the garden with a drink. It's very close to the train station, and while it's not near the city center, the metro is very close by.

The air conditioning system wasn't good, it was controlled centrally at the reception desk so if you turned it off in the room you had to have it restarted by the reception staff.

The breakfast was lovely, great variety of really fresh foods. We also ate in the restaurant which was really good. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and professional. The hotel was a little too far outside the city centre but there was good public transport in the area so it wasn't too much hassle.

I think a softer chair would be a welcome addition to the bedroom living space. The hard wooden chairs don't lend themselves to relaxing after a long day.

Property is farther from the touristy river area than many other hotels. But that was ok for us.

it is separate from the tourist area, so you are in a locals area. That can be an advantage or not depending on what you want.

Very modern hotel, lots of concrete and brick - but also gardens and lots of seating areas outside. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good choice of options for breakfast.

The bar manager Lewis . He unfortunately showed he treated customers differently. . His enquiry probably cost a return visit. We would have recommended it to friends and family because we thought everything was good but it actually spoiled it for the hotel . . It's such a shame he let the hotel down when all the other members of staff were fantastic . I would say not a good example for his junior members of staff .
