I would have liked the towels to be changed at least once, but it was not a problem. The internet speed is not that good and sometimes we have issues with the wi-fi signal.

The property is situated in a really quiet place, we liked it. If you want night life this isn't the right place to be. It was easy to collect the key, and the information was clear. The parking space is available in the front of the building, parking fees apply from 09-17, but parking is free the rest of the day and on weekends. Free street parking is available on the other side of the building. The room was clean and equipped with a toaster, pots and pans, a kettle, a microwave, a coffee machine, and so on. The room service isn't free.

Police station under apartments is good, but also not good due to all night working. When is raining and is 14°C outside, then inside is cold and high humudity without chance to heating the room and then the floor is really cold. Mountain view is also question..

Clean apartment room. Good as base for trips. Nice sand beach in the town. Town is close to Rabacal cottage, 25 Fontes and Risco waterfalls.

Our apartment was right above and overlooked the local police station. So this was sometimes noisy at night. And not exactly a great holiday view when having your meals or relaxing on the balcony. So we didn’t like this. Otherwise, it was excellent and the staff were first class.

Close to Calheta, without being in the thick of things. Spacious bedroom/living area. Pretty good kitchen with quite a bit of what you’d need for self-catering. And a good functional shower room for a couple. We liked the idea of the balcony to eat our meals (this was the only place with a table to eat at)….

The apartment did not look nice, nor was it cosy with hard white lights. It was fine as we were not home that often. It is also pretty high up the mountains, so a walk back from the beach is hard.

There was really no dining table but that wasn't a big problem as we sat on the couch and used the coffee table. There's not much natural light into the apartment.

Very clean and spacious apartment, Wi-Fi worked well and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics and there was plenty hot water for the shower. Quiet location, parking available in front of the apartment. Very friendly welcome and easy check-in and check-out.

You have to buy your own toilet paper. We stayed at the apartment for 6 days (2 people) and we were given only one toilet paper for the entire stay. When we contacted the host about it, she told us she wouldn’t give us more and we had to buy our own. Obviously it’s not a big deal, but it’s very unusual and we’ve never had such an experience in multiple hotels/apartments in Europe and in Madeira, and we have been hosts ourselves too. Fortunately we had a motorbike to drive around so driving to the supermarket to get toilet paper was easy, but it would be worse for someone without a vehicle to move around. I wish the host would buy more toilet paper for the guests (a packet only costs 1 euro) as it’s a basic thing to provide and would save some time and effort for guests on vacation. The frying pan is very small and therefore inconvenient to cook in, it would be great if there was a bigger one. No mosquito nets on the windows and lots of mosquitos.

Our plane was 6 hours late so we arrived in the middle of the night and the host sent us instructions for check in, we were very grateful. Local red wine as a welcome gift. Nice balcony to chill on with a view of hills. Very nice supermarket Pingo Doce approximately 7 mins away from the apartment by car, where you can get fresh fish and delicious pastel de nata. City beach near the supermarket. The apartment has some useful amenities such as an electric kettle and a toaster. A few cooking basics such as salt and pepper available.

The apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom functional. The parking is located under the house, if it is not available you can park for a fee. The location is convenient if you have a car, just a few minutes from Calheta. Nélia was very nice and helpful, she let us find the keys despite arriving late at night

We could only open the windows when we were in the apartment, because there was a terrace around the apartment, which other people also used to access their apartment. A few mosquitoes got into the room. It would need some mosquito repellent. The apartment has few electrical outlets and none at all near the beds. The bathroom door was bumping and blocking one of the electrical outlets.

We found everything we needed in the apartment. It was well equipped and clean. The owner communicated with us very nicely and quickly. We had a view of the mountains. Parking was possible at the back entrance. It was a very comfortable accommodation.

We rested as a family of 3 people (with a small 4-year-old son), stayed in this place for 23 nights. At the booking stage - we were very much helped by the administrator Victoria. Absolutely, lovely and helpful person! Already on the spot we were met, Neli: throughout the rest she was our guardian angel!.. The apartment itself is very cozy. The location is super convenient! Near-café, shop. To the beach - 5min by car, min 20 walk from the Mountain. Summary: an incredible place, with wonderful people! Love - as for the whole island: at first sight!❤️🌐

it's not so close to the beach that it seems to go down to the beach is like 20 minutes but to go back up to the apartment is 40. But after all no one goes to Madeira for the beaches(the mountain is much much more beautiful and better choice)

Very nice and clean big room with a small kitchen box in it. It's close to the mountain and even if you want to walk more you can go to 25 Fontes Levada by foot and trough one of the food tunnels.
