There is nothing to complain about as the hotel has made sure all guests have everything they need to make a great stay!

The hotel is beautiful, but the staff are what make this hotel stand out, as their attention to detail is outstanding. From check in to check out their thoughtfulness was great appreciated! The hotel has great amenities and has thought of everything. The breakfast was great with many choices! We also had a message which was also very nice!

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Beatiful boutique hotel with interior design that is elevated to the form of art you can't stop appreciating. Located in the center of Aveiro close to absolutely everything. Staff is simply amazing, service is perfected to the level of detail I have not experienced anywhere in the world and we travel a lot. Spa with saunas and pool was great to use on the rainly days in March. Breakfast was great with selection of fresh local produce and nights were finished off daily with poetic notes left in our room from the staff always coupled with Aveiro special deserts.

Couldn’t find the stairs in case of an emergency, only saw the elevator.

Excellent breakfast buffet, wonderful and central location. Luxurious room and bathroom. Friendly and professional staff. Great restaurant, we enjoyed a really good lunch there.

The range of champagnes could be wider, however nothing what cloud cause problems.

Very individual service. If guests need s.th. it will be realized in this hotel. Everybody is kind and educated. This place fitted my expectations, which are always and only the best. Who knows me, for sure trusts in my descriptions. hahaha it is not easy to be funny and intense together.

Parking it tight in a Aveiro - we had to surrender our car key for valet parking at a cost of 24 euro per night - no choice. Also, my husband is a technologies geek and chrome caste did not work …. Not a user error - it just simply did not work.

Exceptional facilities, beautiful comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff and incredible bar service and great food at the restaurant and breakfast buffet. The indoor swimming pool was brilliant, likewise the gym, jacuzzi and sensory shower. Staff were knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and proud to present it to us on arrival . Our stay was absolutely amazing. Thank you to everyone.

Bar & restaurant service not as fast as one would expect from a 5-star venue. Not bad, just not what you'd expect. Staff is super friendly though.

Great location in the heart of Aveiro. Walking distance from all Aveiro's must-see spots. Hotel is truly 5 star in terms of amenities and luxury. Check-in & out was a breeze. Valet service for your vehicle is a great addition (be aware that there is a fee for parking). Breakfast is, as advertised, superb.

I do travel a lot and love to try out different hotels, many being excellent and some not so. However I usually don´t bother writing a review even though well deserved, apart from now. This hotel was incredible, rooms, facility, staff, service, spa area, restaurant, location and the list keeps on. Just exceptional in all regards.

The only negative point I would raise is the price of the car park. We weren't informed that it has a cost, and we paid 25 EUR for less then 24 hours parking.

The Hotel is amazing! We stayed one night, and I chose it to propose to my future wife (And I thank to Hotel staff for their kindness and support on this behalf). The Hotel is cozy and is inspired in Eça de Queiróz, one of the main writers of Portuguese literature (also a journalist and a lawyer). The room given to us was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities for an Hotel of this category. It has one of the most beautiful spas I have ever been. From the interior pool, lying beneath the exterior pool, you have a panoramic view of the same, allowing a lot of light to come into it. Another good surprise was the beakfast, whose quality exceeded our best expectations. The staff was extremely willingful and commited on the quality of our stay, which we appreciated.

I did like everything during my stay.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. I have stayed at many of hotels and this is on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine.

Amazing Hotel, with century architecture very well balance with the contemporany one., good details and small luxurys that take us to the past, were we can experience history and culture in a joyful atmosphere. Very central location with delicious breakfast to give you all you need to explore the amazing city . Friendly and attentive staff with very good knowledge of the citie, its atractions, ... And finnaly the hotel have one of the best places to taste yummy food paring with regional flavours , the delighting restaurant that we will certainly enjoy in another opportunity to live this beautiful times again. Rooms on the first floor number 3 4 and 5 are in fronf of staff door, public toilets and is the hallway towards the restaurant. I requested a bottle of porto of 250ml the same brand of a 750ml at any store was €12. The hotel charge for the 250ml €40. Absolutely shameless the markup. Room service is always more expensive but 400% markup is a rip off. I have stayed in SLH hotels before and this is not up to par to others.
