Beautiful place with the best view. The room was big enough, with beautiful bathroom and also bathtub in the room. The bed was very comfortable and again with a fantastic view. There is also a little terrace where you can just sit and sip your glass of wine while enjoying the view of the mountains. Every morning we had a fantastic breakfast with everything you can think of (sweet pastry and cakes, eggs, cheese, hams, fruit, yougurts, bread....). Bruno, the host, is very nice and very helpful. He also recommended us places around which we could visit. We would definitely recommend this accomodation and would love to come back again.

The only downer was the fact we could hear TV noise and the people from the room next to ours. I don't believe it was because they were talking loudly, it' just a poor soundproofing. The following note has nothing to do with the Guest House but to the region: If you are planning to go (especially at night), try to check the weather forecast for fog. We've arrived at 10PM, after driving up the mountain with intense fog, no visibility farther than 1 meter.

The surrounding scenery is beautiful. The morning we were there we weren't able to see the mountains while we had a marvelous breakfast due to the coming and going fog, but we did have the chance to take pictures later when the sky was clear. We've arrived at 10PM and Bruno welcomed us very nicely. We were even able to enjoy the outside jacuzzi at late night since our room was next to it. The Guest House has a rustic look and charm which makes you feel cosy and its perfect to relax.

Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, very spacious suites, and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast available until late morning, which is brilliant. They also allowed us to do a late check-out. Eduardo was incredibly helpful.

Wifi could have been better but only because I was working and needed to communicate reliably. There was no availability of food other than a very good breakfast, we had to drive to nearby restaurants or shops.

Fantastic location and beautiful surroundings, very friendly and helpful owner and staff. the place was clean and comfortable and I felt truly relaxed. I will definitely recommend the Muas guest house to anyone and I would love to stay there again.

The stay was very pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

Location perfect to explore the area, Breakfast was great, staff very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and this is one point that to me, makes a difference in accommodation. There a kitchen with all the appliances necessary if you want to cook your own meal or just to warm it up. View lovely. I am hoping to return soon.

Wow. Absolutely wow. We can't even imagine the great experience we had at this place. We arrive after several days at the Douro valley, and by far - this place was the best we chose and stayed in. From the great hospitality of the host, to the facilities (Jacuzzi, Balcony, Breakfast and what not). Do yourself a favour and go there, believe us.

There was a problem with the hot water when we arrived, but it was promptly solved by the staff.

The view is magnificient, and it was very cool to refresh in the swimming pool.

Amazing place with a fantastic view, great service , great facilities , rooms, service. One of the best places you can stay in the Vila Real area , don’t hesitate. Beyond friendly managers, go over the edge to make you feel at home. Great experience with our kid there. We loved the included breakfast & very relaxing place!
