Excellent location for attending meeting in nearby conference center. 10 to 15 min. walk to true city center. Great river view from topfloor bar. Excellent restaurant in hotel.

The only downfall we found was the poor design of the shower. The water doesn’t drain when running, so much so it pools and becomes very slippery if not drained before you leave the shower. Not to mention the towel rack is in the wrong place so you have to push the door (and water) into the room on exit if the shower, ending in a lake on the floor! It wasn’t a major issue for us, but both my husband I commented on how dangerous it could be for others.

We found the location to be excellent, you can explore so much of the city and walks along the river , it truly is such a good, quiet location! We will certainly recommend to others!

Can't think of anything we did not enjoy here. In addition to top-notch service, the area is beautiful.

Suite on the third floor had incredible city and river views. Spacious for a European hotel. The staff is extremely professional and helpful in several languages, as well as at the hotel bar and restaurant. Super modern and extremely clean with everything you need. Feels very upscale compared to other accommodations in the area. Location was excellent with views, bars, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away (5min to lively area, 15min to Sé). Our hotel restaurant waiter Luis was fantastic - engaged in conversation and made us feel very welcome, and helped us with some recommendations. Thank you!

The heating took a long time to kick in, which will not be an issue for most of the year.

There are so many nice little details about this place, like the shiatsu massage pillow in our room. The place was clean and nicely decorated, and the breakfast was really good. It's in a great location, within walking distance from the centre of Porto, but in a quieter area.

The location is a bit awkward to get to and from major attractions in the city, you pretty much have to walk at least 20 minutes up hill. There were some transit connections nearby and the hotel offers bicycles, but we were mostly on foot. The nice thing is that going back to your hotel is almost always downhill!

The hotel is beautiful. The whole building including the lobby, hallways, restaurant, and rooms have a soothing feel to them. Very relaxing and tranquil. We didn't have a river view, but our window looked out onto a nice green space. It seems like all the details were well considered in the design of this building.

The room that was provided. The AC filters should be frequently replaced. I Forgot to pay for water on the rooftop, and then the waitress called my room twice. I believe that they are more polite approaches.

It is really a nice chic hotel with great service. Good location, walkable to downtown, beautiful window view from rooms and restaurant. With parking. Breakfast is so good. Big room with comfortable beds. Good value.

Since my parents are two people who are more than 80 years old, the facilities were not well-adjusted. Everything is too high,  towels hangers, closet hangers, shampoo and shower gel bottles, no hand support in the shower, no shower mat.

The location and staff kindness was a plus in a very nice building. Not only the reception staff but also the restaurant staff were very kind and treat us with care.

Superb location, plane was delayed so 24 hour check in worked well. Very clean and comfortable bed with garden view. Friendly and courteous staff, had to leave luggage for a few hours the next day and that was no problem. Business room near reception for access to meetings. Rooftop bar on 5 th floor lovely view for cocktails. Breakfast was excellent and late check out 12 clock worked very well. Bus and tram outside. Walkable on Duoro to Ribeira.

So given it was very hot, the air con was disappointing. It just did not cool the room efficiently. We found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful, although we bought a tour which included 3 parts from reception and their knowledge and advice about how to undertake different aspects of the tour was not good. Different staff members provided different information, it felt as if it shouldn't have been this difficult, and we ended up trying to cram several things into the last afternoon. Although on the whole the hotel seemed very clean, perhaps a little more attention to detail in cleaning the bedrooms as certain areas were quite dusty.

This hotel is nicely located by the river, it's away from all the hustle and bustle and about a 15/20 minute stroll to the Riberia district and about 30 mins if you are wanting to cross over the river. We really didn't mind as it's a beautiful walk. A big bonus of this hotel is the sky bar which has stunning views and is open until midnight on weekdays and 1am on weekends. We had a snack at the sky bar but didn't try the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful, if a little busy at times. Our room was a good size and modern. The bed was large and comfortable and the shower was good. There were nice touches such as a welcome note and pastries. There is also an internal court yard area where you can relax with a book, it is in the shade which was great as it was very hot in Porto in October!
