Great village location, close enough to Braganza for all town/city requirements. Lovely rooms, nice courtyard off the room with some privacy. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant was truly amazing, the highlight of our 2 weeks touring Northern Spain and Portugal, exceptionally good.

Hotel is sterile and everything echos. It was not a problem as there didn't seem to be a lot of other guests, but there is no soundproofing. The lighting in the rooms is a harsh florescent and the bedding is a synthetic material that doesn't breathe. The refrigerator had a strap around it and the signage seemed to indicate that if you broke it, you would be charged for the mini bar contents, so we had to leave our food in the car (we were on a road trip).

This was perfect for a one-night stay. The entire hotel is very clean, and the room is basic and comfortable for one night. Electric black-out blinds were great! Good storage. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Communication was clear and even though breakfast is listed as starting at 8am, there was food laid out and coffee available as early as 7:30am, which was appreciated, and the breakfast room attendant was very friendly. The best part of this hotel is the adjoining restaurant for dinner. Absolutely amazing steak and house wine and you MUST try their fries!

Nothing special. There was nothing that I could say "was wrong". The only question is that the hotel is out of the main city but that was known since the beginning

What I found more interesting is to be in the "deep country" and face a very high-tech hotel created by 2 entrepreneurs coming from the "old generation". Facilities 97% perfect

Modern Hotel premises which has high standards of cleanliness , friendliness and wonderful cuisine The whole team are first rate very high standards The adjacent restaurant is fantastic full of locals and with quality food at reasonable prices Address is incorrect on Booking.com but it is within 200m on the main road and is Signposted

The small garden wasn’t mowed, needed bit of care to look better. No shops nearby but plan ahead if you need to.

Clean, modern & newer hotel in the countryside. Good bkfst with fresh juice, great coffee & selection of fruits & cheeses. Room is sufficient, comfortable bed & good size bathroom. Small seating area outside. Very good wifi. Friendly & welcoming staff. O Abel restaurant is best in the area for grilled meats. We enjoyed our stay. There are nearby walks & small park & river walks.

the Google map address is incorrect so we had some trouble finding it. the hotel is located behind the restaurant with the same name, so we finally saw the sign for the restaurant

The desk in the room is a bit of a joke... it is more like a shelf. I made it work, but something a little bigger would be better. Access is via keypad.... no cell-phone, no easy access.!

Great rural hotel. Clean room, big bathroom, all the things one needs were there. The attached restaurant is a grill restaurant. So meat is very good, so it seemed. Not so good fro people that do not eat meat.

Rooms surprisingly good for a rural hotel - modern purpose built wing. No food served on the Sunday evening, but the hotelier gave us a good recommendation.

the price quality ratio for this hotel is exceptional as is the wonderful meal you will have at its companion restaurant. The staff at both the restaurant and the hotel are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. This is a stop you will remember.
