After a long day it was a slog carrying our heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs. Room was on floor five and lifts only go to floor four. Would have like to be informed that breakfast was not included when we checked in and how much it would be. If we new we would have rather popped outside to one of the lovely local restaurants as breakfast was very mediocre.

Stunningly decorated, great location , we stayed in studio , top floor. Staff were super friendly!

The breakfast buffet stayed open till 10:30 but most of the good stuff was gone (the first day only) when we arrived at 10:10. No worries because there were great options on the street outside.

The suite was huge. Great value for the money, compared with the hotel we stayed at in Sintra -- which we liked but which was substantially more expensive.

Our room was situated at the back of the hotel backing onto a street which if cars / people passing very loud. Room had a kitchen but limited crockery and utensils.

Great location. On Main Street with easy access to shops and restaurants. Close to metro station and train station also. Great view of Porto and cathedral. Very friendly and helpful staff. Allowed us to leave bags before check in and after check out. Very clean and bright room. Kitchen had fridge / freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Garden area with sun loungers able to avail of. Did not make use of spa / gym / pool facilities but given good info on check in.

Breakfast was quite limited, not alot of choice, so only had it one day. No bar in the hotel, which we expected, there is a bar but it's owned by next door. It was hardly ever open.

The tiled floor could get slippy. It would be nice to have slippers and robes as a finishing touch especially since the property has a SPA!

The location was perfect. The room was amazing and the view from the room and balcony was perfect. Would recommend it to friends and family. The room was also cleaned to the highest standard when we went out for the day.

Sofa bed wasn’t as comfy as it could have been, and when we booked to use the spa facilities the sauna wasn’t on/able to use so we wish there was some notice/warning when we booked.

Bathroom needs attention

Location central, nice accommodation very spacious as we were in the garden villas, best nights sleep for a very long time as it was so quiet.

I didn't like that I booked a massage days in advance, I confirmed it and the day of the massage there was not registration of my booking. It is better to book once you are at the hotel.

The amazing view and garden outside of the deluxe suites. It is the best place to stay! The location of the hotel is also excellent.

The bathroom door lock was really annoying- hard to use and noisy.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Nice spa and some gym facilities. Lovely roof garden. Only downside was the room was quite small and looked into a dark courtyard - but this was one of their standard, rather than superior, rooms.
