The apartment is comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. It offers an amazing view and free parking place in the underground garage. Salomé is the most caring and friendly host we have ever met. Higly recommended!

Salome met us on arrival, and had arranged a taxi for us. She was very friendly and explained everything to us about the apartment. Loved everything about the apartment, above all the balcony and view, and the fact the bedroom looked out on the view as well. Nice and quiet, and bus stop just down the road with a regular service to Funchal. Nearby pizza/pasta restaurant was really good.

The best ever view I have seen in my life! The host is absolutely great too and she has a good taste, the apartment is really nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped even for a bit more advanced cooking.

In general we liked the apartment very much, so the following are mostly some hints on how to make the apartment even more perfect :) Parking in the garage requires good skills and nerves - opt for a smaller rent car :) Some stuff in the kitchen could be renewed (e.g. the frying pan). It would be nice to have some leftovers from the previous guests (frying oil, spices, etc.), so that you don't have to buy all the basics (especially relevant for shorter stays). Of course, it's totally up to the host, you can't require that. The price is rather high but the overall benefits of the apartment leave you no choice but to make your peace with it :)

The ocean view was amazing. The location is great. The host is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and comfortable. A reserved parking place makes you life much easier if you rent a car.

It is not as if I didn't like but there is no lift so I struggled a bit to carry a heavy luggage with no help to the second floor. Also, this is only a personal preference but the evening sun could be too strong to enjoy sitting in the balcony, which faces south west with no roof - I needed a shade. If you like to be baked in the sun, then it wouldn't be a problem.

The view from the balcony was superb - it keeps changing all the time and I never got tired of it rain or shine. The location was perfect too, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but is still within easy reach. Also you can avoid climing up a steep hill at the end of the day! Camara de Lobos is within walking distance as well - all the way through the sea front promenade. Inside the apartment was immaculate and very comfortable too. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

The only point of note is that the shower only has enough hot water for two quick showers.

Excellent apartment in great location with a wonderful host. The apartment has secure underground car parking and is about 4k from Funchal. Its within 10mins walk of the Forum shopping centre which is really convenient. The apartment has wonderful views and is very comfortable.

If you like to shower a lot, there is a risk you may run out of hot water, as boiler’s capacity is rather small. No elevator in the house and some noise from the street may also be heard. But all this is really petty compared with a magnificent view from the balcony, already missing it a lot :)

Great cozy appartments with a view from the balcony being one of the major highlights of our trip to Madeira. Large shopping mall is just 5 minutes away on foot, with several nice dining places and promenade nearby. Free parking in the garage below the house was an additional bonus. Appartment had everything necessary for a comfortable stay and the host was very nice and even left us some welcome treats. Thank you!

The apartment is great - newly decorated, spacious and fully equipped. It offers a fantastic view and is situated in a quiet neighborhood of São Martinho with a convenient bus connection with the center of Funchal.

We were happily greeted upon arrival in the apartment. The whole apartment was very clean and spacious. Especially the kitchen invites you to cook. There is a bus station and supermarket nearby and the beach is not far either. Overall we can really recommend a stay there.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment with lovely views of the the ocean & cliffs. The balcony faces the sea with doors out from the living room and bedroom The apartment has recently been completely refurbished with the inclusion of a Dolce Gusto coffee machine! Salomé was at the apartment to hand over the keys, to show us around and to answer any questions we might have. Another plus for us, was that tours pick up from this location. The Forum shopping centre, which is only a ten minute walk away, has a large Pingo Doce supermarket for all your needs. We enjoyed using the lido swimming pools, three all within a 20 minute walk away. Entrance fee to the lido for 2 adults, including sun beds and parasol was €12. We highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Madeira.

The location is excellent, beautiful view of the ocean and Cabo Girao from the balcony, quiet place, clean and comfortable, enjoyed it very much. Close to the Forum Mall, Estrada Monumental and promenades. The hostess was lovely, caring about my comfort. I was very happy with my experience. I will definitely go back to the same place all the time.

The apartment was beautiful and so comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and Salomé is a really great host! The view from the terrace was breathtaking, this the best spot for sunsets because the sun goes down in front of the apartment! Everything was nice and clean. We will definitely come back!
