The pillowes were uncomfortable, it was impossible to sleep at night. So, it ruined the impression.

Nothing to be honest. I couldn't fault the place.

Everything. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, to meeting the staff, the Christmas dining service, the general atmosphere of the hotel and even the guests, the services like the fitness room, pool, sauna and massage treatments - we LOVED. The rooms are so spacious and a great size to chill out in. Bathroom, all good. Outdoor mini plunge pools with the seating area, lovely way to relax with a book. The farm - adorable. Loved going to see the goats and pigs every day. We did an activity booked through the hotel of the horse ride which was also lovely too.

The sauna and steam wasn’t functioning so I would recommend the spa area to improve, the heated pool wasn’t as warm when I got there at 10pm so it wasn’t enjoyed. I’d recommend a jacuzzi outside so people can still enjoy nature during winter

The reception did an excellent job surprising my partner for his birthday, they were caring attentive and listen to all I needed. They did their best and the cleaners even helped and went out of their way for me! It was a beautiful compound and the nature is worth all your money.

The amount we had to pay per day for our pet to be allowed. I can accept a deposit which could be withheld if there was any damage but 40€ per day is excessive in my opinion.

The surrounding scenery is amazing. The hotel is well maintained and elegant. The staff were very friendly. We took our dog and he was well treated and allowed everywhere.

The interior design was fantastic, the hotel is beautiful, lots of green areas, lovely swimming pools and spacious rooms.

Not much can be said bad about Octant. However, I can mention some details: - It is a bit far from Évora, so you will need a car or taxi - The breakfast and dinner service were good, although it was a bit slow to get orders taken both for coffee and dinner requests - The Sauna was working but not the Turkish Bath - You can access the pool area from your room balcony in some cases. It would be great if the card could work to open the room from that side as well, so you didn't need to leave the room open for direct access. Note that these are very minor issues, and the hotel deserves the highest rating.

I really liked the modern look of the facilities, it was the first hotel I saw with a proper family room (and I've been to more than most) with a double bunk bed and even a small tent for kids to play inside the room. The hotel is quite adequate for families, the pool area is not that large and can get crowded easily, but it looks very nice. It also has small mini pools in other parts of the hotel for adults only, even though that was not controlled during my stay and saw many children there. I also liked the farm area of the hotel with animals and vegetables (even though the vegetable part was not well taken care of at the time), and my child spent some time petting a poney, pig, goats and sheep. The breakfast options were very good and complete, one of the most complete ones for the size of the buffet. Well done! The staff was very kind and helpful, I think people will feel well received here.

We stayed at a villa and there were some signs of maintenance needed, particularly for the price they were. Nothing critical but around the pool and windows there was some work needed.

It is an incredible place, without a doubt we will come back.
