Soundproofing. The hostel had a really horrible soundproofing, I woke up every time someone entered the hostel, since the outside door seemed to a bit stuck and you needed to push pretty strongly to open it.

Clean room, and really clean common facilities (especially the bathroom!) and great value for the money.

I recently stayed at O’LOPO hostel and it was awesome! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a long or short term stay in Porto. One of the standout features of O’LOPO hostel is its fantastic atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home🫶🏻They were always available to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms and common areas were always spotless, and the staff made sure to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout my entire stay. Good showers with hot water and good pressure. The kitchen was a big plus. It has everything you need. I saved money by cooking my own meals. The location was perfect, O’LOPO hostel is conveniently situated within a 10-minute walk of supermarkets, laundry, cafes, and both bus and train stations. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore Porto and its surrounding areas. Additionally, the hostel is located in a quiet area, and I always felt safe even when returning late at night. The only noise you can hear is your neighbors, everything inside the hostel is quite audible.

The only thing is that at night I could hear everything in the corridor, so bring your earplugs if it's an issue. Also if you need tea bring your own :)

I chose the hostel due to proximity to the train station, but was pleasantly surprised. I was given a very thorough and friendly introduction at check-in. The amenities are new and modern, while the building itself is historic. There were little things that I appreciated - towels, personal soap, complimentary coffee capsule, filtered water in the fridge. There is an elevator to get to the upper floors, but to enter you need to pass the stairs. I stayed only one night and left early, so didn't get a feel of staying there for socializing. Overall would recommend.

Owners of the property are the best ! Maria and her sister knows how to welcome their guests and how to make them feel at home . The facilities are great . The vibe at Oloppo is the best . The location was a less nicer neighbourhood but close the the station Campagna so it depends on what you need.

Very welcoming and I only shared a room with one other person so private enough for the price. You get a shampoo bar and coffee cup upon arrival, very friendly.

My room was close to entrance and noise isolation was not good - It was easy to hear other guest entering and exiting property and some street noise.

If you are travelling with lots or heavy luggage, be prepared for heavy lifting as there is a first flight of stairs, before you reach the elevator.

The hostel was really nice and cozy and best of all were the employees that were extremely kind and attentive. I’d forgotten my charger at the room after I checked out and the manager called me on the same day suggesting she mail it back to me. The location is great also with comfortable and clean rooms.

The building is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Loved the kitchen and living area. The bedrooms are spacious and can hang your cloths the beds are really comfy and rooms are a good temperature. Showers have good pressure and reasonable clean Free coffee was also a bonus

The location is really far away from the downtown. Keep in mind: if you plan to visit Porto in a short time, like 1-2 days, the hostel is not your best choice. Anyway, it is a good distance to the Campahana bus/train station. you can drag your luggage along a slope to the top, and you can reach the hostel.

I loved the hostel from the moment I arrived. Beautiful architecture and it smelled great. It felt more like a hotel 3 stars than anything. It is just a 15-minute walk from Campanha Station and has many amenities close by. I would love to ahve spent more time there. I will definitely be back.

The outside door was annoying, people were slamming it at night which affected the quality of sleep, the bed and pillow weren't soft.

The girl running the place was super friendly, clean place, medium size room with bathroom, affordable price.

The location is certainly not central, but it was perfect for me. Quiet and safe, close to the football stadium and the bus as well as train station (Campanhã).

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Heartwarming ladies who make you feel at home. The small villa offers everything you need. Clean rooms, which are a bit noisy, but that didn't bother me personally. Modern and good value. I can only recommend staying there.
