The fact that the main outside pool including pool bar/restaurant was closed and that there was barely any entertainment for the kids like in the summer months. Very dissapointing but nevertheless a great place to stay.

The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, breakfast and the location.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Onyria Hotel in Portugal, and I can't say enough good things about this remarkable establishment. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the level of comfort, cleanliness, and the wide array of activities available to guests. First and foremost, the comfort at Onyria Hotel is second to none. The attention to detail in-room amenities and furnishings was truly impressive, and it's clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of comfort. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to me when choosing a hotel, and Onyria Hotel exceeded my expectations in this regard. The entire hotel is immaculate, and the staff works tirelessly to keep all areas spotless. Whether it's the pristine lobby, the well-kept grounds, or the sparkling clean dining areas, you can rest assured that Onyria Hotel is committed to maintaining a top-tier level of cleanliness throughout your stay. No any complains

This hotel has a good location in very nice and luxury green area close to the golf fields. The staff was professional and very polite. The breakfast was very nice. Very big complement for the Kids Club and their team. Our kids were very happy and it's a place where you want to come back again.

First time I had to pay to use the swimming pool (€5 pax). I used to come at least once a year since 2018: it is NOT children friendly as it used to be. It became a regular hotel; same as all others in the area and country.... Lost its soul.

It's a little too far to walk from the town, so be prepared to get a lot of taxis. Service at the pool was a little hit and miss. On arrival, we were told it was closed, but when we took a walk in the garden, we were surprised to see lots of people there. There was a young child in the room next to us, I'm not sure if it had the loudest cry in the world or whether the soundproofing was poor. Either way, we were surprised by this since everything else about the room was so good.

Lovely setting, clean, and comfortable. The room was very spacious. It had a very large bathroom and a large-ish terrace overlooking the internal courtyard. The bed itself was a dream, possibly the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Breakfast was good, but became a little monotonous after a few days.

Balcony was wet when it rained. Useless roof. If the weathers cold and wet the room in general is cold and wet.

Room, Staff, Location and the buffet even though after three days it gets stale.

There were a number of unnecessary problems- 1. Before arriving we should've been told that it was a significant distance from Cascais. There was a shuttle service but for some unfathomable reason it only ran at 11 am and 3 pm and only remained in the town for 20 minutes. Why should there not have been such a service to cover the evenings? 2. There was a shuttle service to an associated restaurant on the coast with sea views. The service was badly managed. We went twice, the first time it was very late to pick us up and the second time there was a mixup and we had to get a taxi back 3. The main swimming pool, used by the children was simply too cold to go into. 4. There was an excellent cycle trail but the bicycles provided by the hotel were badly maintained. We pointed out to loose cables and the bicycle man said "don't worry it's only the lights" 5. The high-tech systems in the bedroom were unfathomable. How can it be so difficult to switch on a light? There should've been a number of staff to accompany us tour room when we arrived to explain all the gadgetry

A proper five star hotel with excellent facilities.

Would recommend an upgrade to the driveways of the deluxe villas as gives a poor first impression. Children’s food is a bit too expensive. Would be great to have other sports facilities there (football, tennis etc).

Very high quality accommodation and amazing staff. Outstanding breakfasts!

All the outdoor pools are very cold so we couldn’t ever use them, even in the height of summer (the location is windy). The kids club has been moved to the basement with no windows. You’d have to be insane to leave your kids there with strangers when you can’t even see what’s going on. The kids club area cannot to be used by children and parents to enjoy together at any time. The kids buffet is really poor and cost us €100 euros for x3 of us. The hotel has VERY little vegetarian food and even less for kids and it’s all well overpriced. We mostly got Uber eats deliveries if staying at the hotel, as did most of the other guests.

the breakfast is excellent. The playground is very good and suitable for slightly older kids too with the bouncy pillow and trampoline. The rooms are large and very well designed. The breakfast entertainment for little kids is really good to allow parents to sit and relax. The spa is lovely and amazing it has specific hours that kids can use it too (for €5 each).

The location, although beautiful, was not within walking distance of restaurants etc and there wasn’t even a small shop on the premises where you could buy essentials like sun lotion etc.

Set in lovely grounds with landscaped gardens and a golf course, the hotel was spacious with great sized bedrooms.
