Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The staff were incredibly helpful with a map of places to see and recommended places to eat. Breakfast was lovely too. Overall standard of the property and service was brilliant.

Outstanding service! From the front desk people to the breakfast servers everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Can’t say enough great things about the staff! Location was quiet in a residential area one block from a grocery store. Was a bit removed from city center but can take metro or taxi. After a day of being with hordes of people we really appreciated the calm and quiet of this hotel. Was lovely to have after noon snacks always available when we returned.

United StatesLocation. It was about a 35 minute walk to get to the center, however it’s an easy flat walk so do-able, just not scenic. Ubers cost us around $11.50 to get to the center of town in the morning. From the center back we got it as cheap as $5.50 around 7:30 pm. Depends on the time of night.
Everything! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The gym was top notch. Lots of sitting areas, large room and great breakfast.

United KingdomI was very satisfied with my stay here. There's nothing I would change however, Maybe if there was more variety at breakfast or ability to buy dinner this would improve the experience.
It's a unique hotel/experience overall I'd say and I enjoyed my stay there. Staff really friendly. New hotel, room is cosy and clean with TV, radio/speaker, fridge and complimentary water and coffee inside. Pool is small / intimate, well equipped, new gym area (24hr access to the gym, Matrix kit), paddle court and yoga, I didn't take advantage of but they look fun. Complimentary snacks available in the lounge area which is a nice touch from the hotel and sets it apart, there's a €1 nespresso coffee machine available to use 24/7 too. Breakfast was good to get you fuelled for the day. Its north of the centre of Porto with a more local feel - close to enough to a convenience store, supermarket, few restaurants and easy to get public transport 10min walk from the metro and coach / bus stations.

IcelandI liked everything but if I were only staying in Porto for a couple days I would probably pick an accommodation a little closer to the center just for convenience.
We were staying for 10 days so we didn't want to be too much in the city center as we were also there for a relaxing trip. We didn't mind walking to the center in the mornings or where we were going that day but we often took an Uber back to the hotel in the evenings after a long day of walking. The breakfast was excellent, they have a buffet as well as taking your order for eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. Its a small hotel so the staff can tend to their guests very well. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean and spacious, there was so much storage space. Loved it!
