The location was great. Away from the hustle and bustle but could be in the centre within 10 minutes walk. The apartment itself was perfect for me. The utensils were sufficient, living space was nice and enough storage for a group of people. I had a great stay and Ana was communicative and accommodating. I will deffineitly return to stay!

It was a great stay. Everything was perfect. Location is just great, max 4 minutes walk to the Ponte Luis, 2 min. walk to General Torres station where you can take Metro. Contact with the owner, Ana, was perfect. Great hospitality and kindness, happy to help in any kind of a problem, happy to give any useful advice. I would definitely choose it once again.

The only thing we somewhat disliked about the property is that the beds weren’t as comfortable as we’d wished. My father and brother both had issues with the mattresses while my mom and I slept fine!

The location was more than excellent! Only a 15 minute walk across the bridge into the North Shore of Porto. The view was also incredible. I was amazed by the incredible view everytime we came back to the room. Everything seemed clean and there was a lot of space in the apartment!

Facilities are not the best and some are quite tired. Could not close the wooden window shutter in the bedroom (got stuck somehow), which meant direct sunlight on your face at 7am and more noise from the street. It's an easy fix if the owner cares to do it.

The location is excellent - five minutes walk to the iconic views of the bridge over the river. I am certain that staying in Gaia close to the bridge is a smart choice. Last year I stayed in central Porto which is crowded and more expensive. The host Ana is very kind and she waited for us to check us in, First floor, nice small apartment.

There’s a few things that should be fixed or added. For example, the doors didn’t work without a key and window covers was impossible to shut in bedroom + in kitchen there was no cutting knife (I found a bread knife, but it was big and probably not good for cutting other besides bread)

The apartment was clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Apartment is located not far from Jardim do Morro and it is also not far from Lidl, metro etc. The owners from the place was lovely and booking, checking experience was super nice! :)

We drank all the coffee in the first day, which may be an issue specific to us. The bed was too firm for my preferences and left me stiff.

The amazing views and overall appearance of the apartment were pleasant. I liked the wood floors and the unique windows. The lock on our door and the building made me feel safe.

The view from the apartment is as shown. To get to the old town of Porto is a nice walk across the Ponte D Luis Bridge with an incredible view. The apartment is quite spacious. Kitchen facility is adequate. A Nespresso coffee machine is provided. Shower is good.

perfect location, walking distance to the city centre, glocery shops and wine shops were very near. The owner was very helpful and advised us on everything. The apartment is very spacious, there was coffee and tea available, also plenty of kitchen facilities. The windows have a beautiful view of the river and the old town.

Great simple flat, close to shops and bakeries, 15mins walk to the river, 20mins walk into town over the amazing steel bridge, also a metro station 5 mins away. Everything you need in the flat, small terrasse in a patio.. Recommend it, price good for Porto, would come again!

The matrass is too soft for my taste (and my back), some people like it though.

The apartment is well connected (just next to a metro D station) and it is in convenient location to explore the city center, being just next to it. To reach Porto you need to cross the beautiful Dom Luís I Bridge, by feet or by metro/tram. The apartment has a spacious living room with a modern kitchen. The bathroom has a spacious shower.

A small, cozy apartment located in Gaia. Even though it’s not located in the heart of Porto, but the walk from the accommodation to the tourist attractions is only 10-15mins and the views are amazing! The owner Ana is extremely helpful as well!

Absolutely everyone came to town for the medieval festival, so trying to find a public parking spot during prime time was challenging.

Located just outside the castle wall, the place is nicely situated between the two entry points. The room size is just right for 3 people. The sofa bed was comfortable and fit me fine (I'm 5'7"). This is vintage... typical of the village. Unique - a separate guest area attached to the main house with a central walled-in garden oasis... a nice place to hang while someone is not yet ready or not yet up from bed. Everything got booked quickly in Obidos because of the medieval festival, and I found this to be a great value.

VERY minor issue: you don't get the sun from the balcony all day, hey, you are probably out enjoying yourself anyway!!

Great Apartment, don't worry about not being in Porto, the apartment is 5 minutes from THE bridge and you are in the upper part of Porto in a 10 minute walk. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

My last stay in Porto (2021) I had incredible, unspoilt views over the Douro. I knew this, however, that this apartment I had a 'street view' although it has 10 times more character than the other.

Excellent location. Close to the metro (2 minute walk). 10 minute walk down into Vila Nova de Gaia and 15 minute walk back to the apartment. Also big plus for me was there was a Lidl supermarket 10 minutes away (7 minutes on the way downhill). Mostly I walked down into Vila Nova de Gaia but the last few days I stayed on the higher level of the Dom Luís I Bridge, which is only open to the Metro line and 'tourists'. Great access from the apartment to the Se Cathedral/São Bento Railway Station (about a 15 minute wal) Immaculately clean, great bed, linen, towels. Living area was great with comfy sofa, large tv, dining table for 4 and very functional kitchen (hob/micro/kettle/toaster/coffee machine, etc.) Host Ana was great and very helpful. Halfway through my 9 night stay she asked if I needed a change of bedding/towels,etc

Two very minor points for improvement 1) Some outdoor lighting would make easier use of the patio 2) Whilst not dirty by any means, the bathroom floor and shower tiling were both in need of a little more love

Great location and price! Good view of old town from the bedroom! Well stocked utensils in the kitchen. Ana was very helpful and responded to some minor issues very promptly.
