We had a lovely stay at Three House hotel. The staff where very helpful, gave us advice of visiting spots and places to eat. The room was very clean. Every day we had new set of towel for pool use and room. Coffee and tea choice where good and also where refilled if running out. Loved the juicer and smoothie maker in the room with made our breakfast top notch. The roof top heated pool, sun loungers could be used at any time in the day. Have enjoyed our morning swim.

More soundproofing for the window seals would reduce the road noise in the morning.

Our superior apartment was really big and spacious, it was super comfortable like a one-bedroom home. The rooftop bar and pool look amazing and was great to relax there with attentive staff checking in occasionally to take orders for food and drinks - reserving the pool area for hotel guests only was a lovely touch. The food in the hotel restaurant is really good quality. The details and aesthetic of the hotel is very impressive.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like about this facility. Great location, outstanding people, exceptional room with kitchen and living room.

The initial greeting by Miguel was exceptional. He showed us to the room and explained how everything worked. Sid was also very willing to share information as to the sites and things to do in Madeira. The room itself was above our expectations. Also, the free pastries delivered to the room every morning were excellent.

Fantastic boutique hotel located in a perfect spot in Funchal with easy access to many amazing restaurants and sites! Room was much larger than what I recall the pictures showing and was equipped with a small fridge and great coffee maker! Access to a washing machine was such a bonus and very appreciated. Staff were amazing! One found out we were going on an excursion before pastries were delivered to the room in the am so they arranged a drop off of croissants the night prior so we would have food the next morning! Everyone went above and beyond and communication via WhatsApp was perfect! Really felt we got 5 star service!

Excellent, trendly, very comfortable apartment at the good place in the centre of Funchal. Very friendly, keep smiling and helpful staff from receptionists, barmans to chambermaids. We appreciated crunchy fresh croissants at the door handle every morning, coffee machine with a fine coffee in the room, clear and refreshing roof swimming pool, free of charge parking place in the garage direct under the house. Thank you for your service very much, we enjoyed our staying by you very well.

Bed was quite hard Parking is slightly tricky to find and scary on first use as it looks like your car won’t fit the entrance - but it does ! Pool was too cold to use in April. Bar and food are expensive.

Wonderful location right in the centre of Funchal. Amazing apartment with all mod cons. Big fluffy towels. Fresh pastries daily and a present when we left. Rooftop pool and loungers. Free parking. Lovely staff.All for less than a good hotel.

As the designated family vacation planner, I spend countless hours looking for the "perfect" hotel/resort/apartment in the perfect locations. Save your time and energy everyone. Just book at the Three House Hotel and you can thank me later. My travel group included 4 people, so a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, small kitchenette was what we were looking for. Location for me is a major selling point. We were able to walk to all the restaurants we dined at, to the cable car station to Monte, the grocery store, the Mercado dos Lavadores, the painted doors on Rua de Santa Maria, and Blandy's Wine Lodge and Museum. After booking, communication was immediate via Whats App and Email. With confirmation of the booking, airport transfers and rental cars were mentioned as an option. We opted to book these with the Three House to avoid separate reservations and contacts. (Car was through Atomo which was easy and well priced. They brought the car right to the hotel and picked it up there as well) Upon arrival, we were given a tour of the hotel and our room. The apartment was exactly as pictured on Trip Advisor and Booking.com. If you are planning on using the kitchenette, you will need to pop over to the grocery store which is across the street. Coffee pods are provided, but if you need spices for cooking, bring along your salt and pepper or grab from the grocery. We personally did not use the kitchen but to warm up left overs. Why cook when you have so many great places to eat right outside your door. Laundry pods are provided for the laundry. Washer and dryer is a steam type machine which was new to us. We brought a clothes line for things that would likely shrink in the steam. We were on the island primarily for hiking, so we were not around much during the day. When we were out and about, we would Whats app the front desk for their recommendations for lunch or supper. They will assist you with your whole day itinerary if needed.

We only found the hotel on our last night!

Everything about our stay was amazing. Firstly, communication with the hotel was easy and then we had a wonderful welcome from Marcio who gave us a guided tour of the hotel and facilities. Our apartment was beautiful and very well stocked with appliances. The roof terrace was absolutely incredible, a peaceful oasis in the centre of the Funchal with 360 views of area. We had croissants delivered to the room and a bowl of fruit waiting on our arrival. As a wheelchair user, I really appreciated how accessible the hotel is. We're already looking forward to staying at the hotel next time!

Nothing, we loved everything and there is nothing to fault

First and easiest place to start talking about this excellent Hotel is the staff. I’ve never encountered encountered a Hotel where every single member of staff goes out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Personal welcomes, WA service, friendly chats and incredibly accommodating. The apartments are top class with amazingly comfortable beds. The restaurant, bar, pool etc are all like a 5* hotel, and there is parking and use of a Gym as well. Location is fantastic near some of Old Funchal and walking distance to everything.

Road noise could be troublesome if you are a light sleeper, but ear plugs are provided.

I loved everything.

Fantastic apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. Great kitchen and appliances, super comfortable bed, spacious sitting room and great decor. There is also a laundry room and access to a well equipped gym. Location is perfect in the old town. You can walk everywhere. Amazing rooftop pool and bar (great cocktails) and delicious food. Staff are really welcoming with lots of suggestions for places to visit. Thanks Margarida!

- Our room was on the side of the building where a bust stop is located. Closing the windows did not do too well to block the sound. - They have events with a DJ on the rooftop bar some nights. This can be fun, but may not be the best if you want to get to bed early. We heard/felt the music well after midnight.

-Central Funchal. Close to everything. -Friendly staff. Gave us a tour of the building and our room when we arrived. -Croissants delivered to our door every morning. So good! - Water fill station, parking, and free laundry services were very convenient. -Rooftop bar offers picturesque views of the sunset
