The cheap quality shower caps, the only false note for me.

Loved the elegant outdoor pool, the Spa massage pool and the breakfast feast both included in the room price, the friendly bar, the friendly and helpful staff who actually listen to you to make sure you are enjoying your visit. The delicious fries and cocktails served to you by the pool from the Terrace. Comfortable room, spotless bathroom with real soap. All the little touches that are there even though you didn't know you would appreciate them (various glasses for use in the room - not plastic, seats outside the pool showers to wait for friends, beautiful garden vistas from the cosy sofas inside, foreign newspapers in the lounge, a plethora of sprinkle toppings at breakfast and delicious fresh fruit; free bar welcome drink when you visit, quiet and peaceful hallways and public lounges) make this place a pleasure to return to every time. The list is long! The Palacio has class and elegance without being condescending. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I didn’t like the fact that u have to pay for water. they only give you one bottle first day for free. and then u have to pay for it, although I was staying at suit.

Lack of service around the pool.

Extremely customer friendly staff, all lovely people and extremely professional and helpful. The rooms, and food were excellent. Marco and Wilson in the bar are just great at their jobs and with customers. Great housekeeping staff, front desk, and the team in the restaurant, and in the shop. lovely pool and gardens. A really classy hotel.

the lifts were often slow and bar area overcrowded . people often walked in the breakfast room without masks. Breakfast service was very slow and we were often left without cutlery when they removed the dirty cutlery without replacing it. many of the “new” staff was standing around talking to colleagues, vs replacing the plates and cutlery.

The staff were friendly and helpful at all times especially Rachel whose smile lit up breakfast and knowledgeable Wilson in the bar. Our room was comfortable and spotless. The public areas were impressive and peaceful: ideal for relaxing with a book and people watching. The peaceful atmosphere of old world elegance throughout is the perfect antidote to the harsh stresses of modern life. Great buffet breakfast ample quantities available, good choice and even fresh chopped chives to sprinkle on our scrambled eggs or tomatoes, a nice touch. Excellent spa facilities included in our room price. Weather too cool to use the outside pool for me, but my husband enjoyed it. A nice walk along the promenade to Cais Cais and the clean beach is a few steps away as is the Casino. Highly recommended: we will definitely return soon.

Housekeeping was a bit intrusive. You definitely want to keep the 'do not disturb' sign on the door or they'll walk right in. Television service was sub-standard.

The air conditioner didn’t seem to work, the staff tried to help without success, it was very hot in the room.
