The location is great. Near the airport and the Vineyards (Unesco’s World heritage). The little house made of volcanic stones made me feel at home immediately. It is small but offers everything you need. And the host is very kind and thoughtful. He welcomed me with a basket full of everything you need for breakfast, wine and fruit.

Main bed in bedroom was comfortable, foldable bed in kitchen/living room much less so.

Fantastic place, with great character. You see volcano, external walls of the accomodation are tastefully made volcanic stones, neraby village is very nice. Claudio (owner) is very helful and happy to talk about the island and region, we learned a lot. Welcome basket was very appreciated. Do not worry about nearby airport, no planes in night. Evenings on the terrace were fabulous (good weather helped).

Unexpected welcome basket with many products! New home very cozy even if not too big. Kitchen very well equipped. Patio with table and chairs to relax and have dinner outside with view on both the sea and Pico Mountain. Lovely position!

The owner is very friendly and helpful, the property is near the airport in a typical lava stones kind of village, and the apartment is made of lava stones so everything is so suggestive!

The location is stunning! The view on the sea, the mountain and sunset, even after a week we couldn’t get used to it. We were lucky with good weather and saw the mountain every single day of our stay. The house is nice too, nice kitchen, bathroom with view and comfortable beds. Nice museum and natural pool around the corner. Fresh fruit, cheese and bread when we arrived. Helpful and kind host Claudio.

The owner greeted us and gave us some very interesting information about the area. The house was amazing, and had a very nice terrace! At night you could hear the birds that are unique to the Azores Islands and see the milky way.

Our time in this place was really nice! The house, built from volcanic rocks, was in a charming village surrounded by vineyards. The view of Pico mountain was just great. The welcome basket had everything we needed for breakfast and not only, and the terrace was comfy. Claudio's warm welcome and help made our stay perfect. For an authentic Pico experience, this place is highly recommended!

The landlord was very kind and helped us a lot. The delivery of the fruit basket was so timely, the freshly baked bread, the delicious red wine was amazing! The geographical location of the house is too good, in front of the sea behind the volcano, the best location for viewing, we drive around the island, here I think is the best location, we have the honor to see the leather Pico mountain, and the sky full of stars!

Bring shower amenities such as shower gel and, if you are planning on cooking at home, some oil, spices, etc., and you will be good!

The whole vibe of the place is incredible: lava rock walls, black / orange / green scenery all around, and, of course, the view to the almighty Pico. Cláudio is a super nice and helpful host who left us a welcome basket of all the goods one could dream of. The apartment is very well decorated.

The house was really good located, with the Pico mountain in one side and the sea in the other. The facilities are good and everything we needed was provided. The owner gave us a box with fresh bread and some fruit.

The place is set in a beautiful area in the middle of the world heritage vinyards. We were welcomed with a basked filled with local produce and homemade wine. One of the hiking trails is even next to the house. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here when visiting Pico!

Best location ever! in a vinyard, with a view to the ocean and views on Sao Jorge, Faial and Mount Pico. So beautiful. The area is world Herritage. The cottage has a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, wash machine, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, stove, all you need. The bathroom is very clean and good. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a ride from Madalena (Ferry) to the accommodation. Also he gave us a ride to the airport when we left. In the fridge we had a bottle of champagne, because it was our honeymoon. Also we got a bottle of wine from his vinyard. It was a very pleasant stay and we recommend it to everybody!!!!

Just two little annoying things: water takes a long time to heat (the owner explained it has to do with where the heat pumps are located); and the lighting in the kitchen/dining area is very dim, making it a bit hard to see what you’re cooking/eating.

Great place to stay in Pico, in one of the most beautiful parts of the island. The house itself was very good: large, comfy bed; well-equipped kitchen and a nice terrace with fantastic views over the mountain.

Everything, the place itself that has the feel of a little beach house, bu has all you need even a washing machine! the quiet surroundings where you can take long walks, the view on mount Pico and the attentiveness of the host.
