Breakfast was a bit poor - there even weren't any eggs and some basic positions, the bakery was not so tasty, very few options to choose from. Some furniture objects in the room were a bit "tired" (such as a broken lamp in the bathroom). We had to wait quite a bit for the water to become warm.

The stuff was super friendly and always here to help with all our requests! The view from the room and the terrace was amazing! The locations was very good - not to high and close to the hiking trails and the bus stop.

I don’t know if it’s a problem with the way booking.com sets out the description but for the second time it’s not clear that they take cash only. Really should be in a more prominent position than way down the description, having merely said that the hotel is to be paid direct. Bathroom a bit tired and water pressure meant anyone else running a tap affected the flow.

Good breakfast. Beautiful view from the terrace. Location was above Geres- not a problem for us but less mobile might find steep road up difficult.

the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful, she gave us advices about the surrouding, where to eat and whats the best place to swim in the lake.

Breakfast was very basic with only instant (!!!) coffee - shame while knowing the good coffee culture in Portugal. If You are not first You do not get all from the narrow menu.

Great location with fantastic views from the terrace. Friendly staff. Good cleanliness. Parking just near the hotel. Just a few minutes walking distance from the village centre.

Excellent views from the balcony. Very helpful staff Breakfast is really good with freshly made eggs. You could actually heat up store bought meals for lunch or dinner in their kitchen.

No windowblind, no good curtain. You have to use eye mask if you don't want to wake up with 1st ray of sun.

The host was very frendly and provided us the extra blanket and heater. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, ham, chees, cereal, cofee with milk, jam. The location is good, walking distance to popular street in Geres with supermarkets, termal spa etc. Host allowed us to checkin earlier than specified time.

The enormous balcony that allowed us to spend some relaxing moments while eating, reading or just listening the water from the close by river. All the availability to help and guide from the owners/staff was magnificent.

Geres is full of tourists

Everything was extremely clean. The breakfast was OK, the balcony was very nice and the view was perfect. Quiet place, the lady from the reception was so nice and lovely!

Wonderful stay! We stayed in the family room with 2 single beds and 1 double, all were very comfortable 'proper' beds. I don't think there is a better private balcony in the town, we had our own spacious and shaded outside space with an incredible view. Great breakfast with fantastic service including freshly cooked eggs and coffee. Staff couldn't do enough, very friendly, flexible and friendly assisting at every turn. For the price we were prepared to rough it to some extent, but we actually experienced exemplary clean, comfortable accommodation with wonderful staff. A beautiful refuge in Gerês!
