Nice apartment with good location

One small point: the electricity in the room is very noisy so we turned it off at night to be able to sleep.

The hotel was very good! A very comfortable room with a separate sofabed for our 4 year old son; I loved it that they contacted us in advance to ask if he was sleeping with us in the room or in "his own" bed. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they even provided a box of chocolates for my husbands birthday during our stay! they also helped us finding a new whale watching trip when our originally booked whale watching trip was cancelled. Breakfast was good; the only thing I can say that a little bit of variation in what they offer would be good but it was more than ok. Parking under the hotel is very convenient and it's a great added value not having to stress about having a place to park the car in the evening. The entrance is a bit narrow because there are always (wrongly) parked cars at the other side of the street but it's doable. The pool is very cold (I know that is maybe due to the time of the year but I expected it to be a bit warmer) but there is a spa that can be used as well and it's included in the price. (you have to book it in advance via the reception desk but if it's available you can use it) I would recommend this hotel for sure!

The only disappointment was the "balcony with seaview". Unfortunately, there's major construction happening in front that might almost eliminate the seaview when it's finished.

The studio apartment was Breakfast was good, lots of variety. The secure parking area was great. Pool and hottub were nice. And it was walking distance to restaurants various sites.

Our room was at the front of the hotel, and occasionally we heard some loud noises from cars or people around in the street. Sleeping with the window open was therefore not so pleasant. Everything else was just perfect!

We liked everything, the staff is very friendly. Everything is super clean and new, the pool is cute and the spa very relaxing! Everything was super easy and smoothly arranged. Gluten free breakfast was no issue (i mentioned it when we booked). Can only recommend! There is a very nice small restaurant next door with good Portuguese food!

Even though the hotel had a parking space (which is another big positive) the parking was a bit tough, but with car sensors it was managable…

Everything! Specially the cleaning lady was a master :) the room was beautiful, quiet and airy for the price :) we enjoyed the wellness as well as breakfast :) the stuff was friendly and the location of the accomodation was good :)

The Spa was small, but nice and private, but you had to book a slot for yourself in advance. So if unlucky and at your preferred time is blocked, you cannot use the Spa and cannot go spontaneously. It is just good to be prepared and know that in advance :) otherwise we were very happy!

The air con isn't turned on until later in the season so we had to keep the patio doors open at night and I got a few mosquito bites. Otherwise it was perfect.👌

Modern, clean aparthotel with everything you need. Lovely pool area, close to the airport (12 euros each way) and walking distance to the port and downtown area. Great included breakfast.

Nothing! All perfect! ….well, one thing! That we could not stay longer.

This was an exceptional experience! The room was spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and very well isolated form the outside noises. Even there were construction work nearby we never heard any noise. The breakfast was very nice! We loved the option to have the typical pastry and the cheese with pepper sauce everyday apart of other options, fresh fruit, different types of pastries and breads, ham and cheese, all perfect! You also have the option to park in the hotel parking. It is easier to get into the parking with a smaller car, but even with a big car you are fine. It is an option that not all hotels offer. What made our stay so exceptional was the stuff at the hotel. The communication was clear, accurate and prompt. In particular, the receptionist/manager excelled in providing us suggestions and recommendation on places to visit and things to do, so we could fully enjoy our time. It was a first class service! I give the Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel my highest recommendation and thank all the stuff to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable!

In one word: Perfection! Everything is brand new, the staff are amazing, the breakfast is delicious and the free covered parking sport is crucial in an area that is extremely hard to find parking spots. I’ll be back for sure!

Entrance to garage is a bit tight and uncomfortable to get in (not a complain, just a remark).

Very friendly stuff, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even accomodated us with a bit earlier check in (which we didn’t plan, but got stuck outside due to weather). Good breakfast each morning. Very comfy rooms (apartments). Hotel is brand new, located within walking distance to downtown. Very nice ammenities. Will certainly be back.

It was difficult and stressful to locate the place, Google Maps had me there about 50 meters too early, in front of a barber shop. The street numbers don't follow logically and I thought I was lost. Set your GPS to "Michel Restaurant" instead, the hotel parking garage is on your left just before your reach the restaurant. You just need to ring the bell by the garage entrance when you first arrive. I wish the hotel took the time to explain this to their guests before arrival. Driving in the Old Town is a harrowing experience for someone like me who's used to driving in North America, as the streets are extremely narrow and there is nowhere to stop and find your way. We had several issues with the plumbing in our bathroom, but these were remedied quickly by the property. Breakfast is very limited and extremely repetitive, same fruit, same pastries, same flavoured yogurt they put back on ice every morning without replenishing. We stayed there for six nights and could not wait to leave for a place with a better, more varied breakfast. This is my only real gripe about the place.

Beautiful, peaceful complex in the old town. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is lovely. Excellent, fast, secure WiFi and large parking garage. Everything looks brand new, likely is. I must insist on this, the staff is wonderful, all of them, that was the best part of our stay here. Vera is a riot, she made us laugh and injected some well needed energy in a place which, honestly, kind of feels and looks like a museum.

The entrance to the parking is a bit odd, but if you come from the main street, it works fine, although it is against the direction of the traffic.

The hotel was really comfortable and located close to the centre of Ponta Delgada. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel had a spa with a hot tub and sauna. Very relaxed atmosphere and overall excellent experience.

Coffee at breakfast could be improved, with real milk in the machine, and fresh cream and real fruit juices offered. There is better coffee in the rooms (but no cream/milk) and it was not replenished. Appreciated the decaf coffee options in the room and at breakfast.

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel and facilities, including the spa; friendly and helpful staff; varied breakfast (same every day but plenty of choice); great location (quiet but easy access on foot to nice restaurants and groceries); and large/convenient parking garage below.
