I am confused with the charges and will have to write to them for an explanation. I have a check out summary for what I though was the final bill and now there is another charge on my visa. Time Consuming!

They were very helpful with arranging a private car and tour guide for 1/2 day. Also arranging transportation to the airport at 3:30 am. He was very nice and walked me to the Air France counter with my heavy luggage.

The cleaning staff knocking on the door twice a day to ask if I wanted the room cleaned even though I had the "Do not disturb" sign on the door.

Other than the room and the indoor and outside pools, I loved the Sauna and the Deep Tissue Massage. The view from my room was amazing, I gazed at the beautiful gardens and city view. It made me feel like I was in a palace, actually, I was!

The hand held shower would not turn on so we had to use the rain shower.

Hotel was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating (i.e., providing directions, recommendations, explanations). Overall they were all excellent! Breakfast was great offering a variety of options: eggs, cereals, sweets, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, different breads all within a beautiful sitting area.

The WiFi connection kept dropping and took a long time to reconnect, this started to be irritating.

Beautiful property. Charming. Service is impeccable. Breakfast is generous and leisurely. Room is comfortable with gowns and slippers. The hotel smells amazing too!

he room was very comfortable but had a creaking door, I had no complaints about it but it might bother some people. The cleaning staff closes windows if you keep them open however. Cleaning staff was very delicate and all items were cleaned that needed and towels replaced. Great service.

Amazing stay, great staff that were very welcoming and helpful in explaining. Showed me to my room and explained all the amenities and opening hours of the pool. But the staff are the real stars of the hotel, always had new water bottles, contacted me when my delivery came in, served coffee at breakfast directly to my table.

excellent environment to relax after a busy day in the hectic city center - easy walk to Belem area and 15 min with Uber down town. Uber or Bolt is cheap compared to other cities. The staff is very friendly, especially Paulo the door man, that gave a nice tour through the old part of the hotel when we arrived and he took all luggage

My pants were missing from the laundry. We checked out of the hotel on April 15, Room 2236. We had laundry picked up on April 13, and it was delivered on April 14. After leaving I realized my blue pants were missing. Do you have them?

The breakfast buffet was amazing- lots of options and beautifully presented. The staff was very attentive. The palace is beautiful, we we felt like royalty.

The room was rather warm.

Stunning turn of the century house with elegant interior furnishings. The gardens were filled with unusual trees and flowers. While very formal the staff were always polite, helpful and friendly.

Take your own teabags if you love tea like I do. Tea in general in Portugal is really bad 😂

The hotel itself is very opulent and historic including the main dining room where breakfast is served and where we had supper one evening. Food is excellent but a little pricy - we had breakfast included in our room rate and it really was excellent with a la carte options and an opulent buffet with sparking wine if you wanted it. Even though the hotel has hosted many celebrities the staff are very personable and friendly. Sadly the weather was very rainy during our stay so we couldn’t make the most of our stay (gorgeous gardens and pool) but we were still glad we stayed there. There is a free shuttle some days to go either to Belém or central Lisbon which was a bonus - we had a fabulous meal at SUD Restaurant overlooking the bridge which the concierge recommended

Everything was good…a small improvement could be made regarding the takeaway breakfasts, for those with an early flight, hotel of this class should have a good selection of breakfasts for such cases, there was a limited selection on the small desk close to the reception 😒

It was a very interesting experience to stay in such a hotel. The hotel has a very interesting history, cozy hotel, pleasant staff, beautiful garden, swimming pool and spa area 👍😊
