While this wasn't a problem for us, the lack of communication with staff was unusual compared to other places we stayed during our trip. Also, the internet was somewhat slow.

The bed was not very comfortable, and in my room a small twin bed. The room and bathroom were modern, though, and had some nice touches. There were no staff present when I was there and no one responded to my requests to leave my bags at the hotel for another few hours, so I had to lock them at the train station.

The location is excellent, right in the center of Coimbra and a short walk to all the tourist sites. It's easy to check in on your own schedule using the door codes provided.

The street was a bit noisy. Also Uber and taxis don’t seem to be able to come to the street so you need to go a few min to another street to be picked up. It’s ok, it’s just a bit nerve wracking

You need PIN numbers to get in and so no staff. But a great hotel.

A lovely charming hotel, with a beautiful reception, has to be seen! The room was large, clean and very comfortable. It is in the middle of town on the Camino. Excellent for pilgrims.

The location was excellent and the room looked newly renovated. It was very clean and fresh. Good internet and cute lobby. Was able to leave my bag before check in. Good instructions for entry prior to arrival

- Cons: noisy (can hear what’s happening on multiple floors) - utilitarian – a room but no amenities… if that’s all you’re looking for it is a nice location and clean room.

Beautiful property - former old-time pharmacy with amazing displays. Our unit had balconies facing the lively pedestrian street. Unit is very tastefully decorated, spotless with high-quality sheets/towels, international TV channels, great shower. It was a super value.

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The information that was sent from the property said there would be fruit for breakfast. There were four apples in a bowl. That is the only fruit we saw the time we were there. There was no staff for check-in, problems, or information. Someone came in and cleaned up the room while we were out. We never saw anyone who worked there.

Fantastic location right in the middle of everything you could want to see. We loved the windows overlooking the street and the deck on the top floor is a real bonus. The bathroom had a great shower and good counter space.

We never saw a single staff person. We had requested luggage storage, which consisted of leaving our luggage under some steps. There was no locked storage room and no staff onsite.

We liked the location since we were near the Se Velha, Se Nova, and the University. The small breakfast bar was adequate for the price of the hotel.

Creatively designed and decorated guesthouse in old town Coimbra, convenient to sites, restaurants, train station. While we never met the host, communication was great & thorough. Highly recommend as comfortable, clean, convenient place to enjoy while in Coimbra

No contact to meet anybody working there which I found a little unusual, even for check in.

Loved the location, the facilities, very nice room and very clean. Great to have an area for coffee and use of a shared fridge if needed.

The location was great and I loved the self check in and a little hostel feeling refrigerator, plates, bowls so you can make your own meals. They also provided coffee and tea.

Great location in a pedestrian zone with many cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. A lovely quirky building with many interesting artefacts. Everything very clean and a nice area to make a coffee or snack.
