perfect location for our holidays. the house is really like on the photos: 3 bedrooms, 1 big terrasse and some smaller ones. the kitchen well equiped. everything was working, very clean. you can connect to netflix.... Goretta, the charming owner is very helpfull.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

Dorete was absolutely lovely from the moment of our arrival! The villa was fully equipped with everything we could need during our stay. We were provided with several towels, beach towels, toilet rolls, a wonderful bottle of wine & some cake! It’s way more spacious than I had thought from the pictures so that’s definitely a bonus too! We could see the sunset from the (two!) terraces. We will definitely be booking this lovely villa the next time we visit Madeira. obrigado!

Our stay was so perfect, probably the best in our whole travel experience ! Gorete is such an amazing person - like the best friend or mother <3 and she showed us some local life, which was such a wonderful experience. If you rent the villa you won't regret it at all - all the rooms are very spacious and clean, beds are really comfortable, terraces around the house offer you spectacular view. All necessary equipment in kitchen and in bathroom, WiFi working without any problems. The whole stay was remarkable and luxurious experience :) Thank you Gorete, can't wait to come back

Because the house is so big and the weather was not the best, it was a bit chilly inside so bring an extra sweter or jumper with you :)

The house is located on a very steep mountain, which is not easy to drive to, especially at night. the narrow hill road to the house itself and parking is only for professional Madeira drivers. I had to left the car at a road down the house about 30 meter away. It wasn't easy to find the house with google maps, and the owner could not help much because i do not speak Portuguese.

Big and roomy with lots of balconies to a great view. very very clean ! The owner was very welcoming and leave us a nice bottle of wine with a special tasty traditional cake.

This is a wonderful place: fully equipped villa, plenty of space to relax or even work, huge rooms with very comfortable beds, a dining area, a perfect view of the village and the ocean and, I mustn't forget, a charming host who does everything for you to have a perfect stay!

It does get a bit chilly in the evenings and early mornings since it’s located pretty high up in the village, but that’s to be expected for the island in the winter time, the built-in heating is not common here. I got myself a little space heater and that was perfect.

I rented one bedroom apartment on the top floor of this large villa for two weeks and I could not have been happier. I really wanted to get an authentic Madeira living experience and thats exactly what I got. :) The whole apartment was sparkling clean, smelled nice, the kitchen was well equipped and spacious bedroom, great views from the balcony, but the best part - friendly and kind host, I would highly recommend it!

The weather on the north of the island

Joana is amazing, she cared very much that everything was to our liking. She brought us food several times and she was not strict with the check out time. The place is amazing, nice views, very comfy and with everything you need for cooking your stuff. The surroundings are very beautiful and being in the south of the island the weather is great. Definitively a place to come back!

To be honest, we loved it all. So nothing to complain about.

Someone met us to give us the keys and then the host came later to introduce herself and ask if everything was okay. She also informed us that she was there in case we needed her and offered us to give us travel tips.

Everything was great! You need to have a car with strong engine (do not rent the cheapest option possible, because is very steep driveway) but if You want to explore Madeira you simply need a good car.

Host is lovely and very hospitable (she communicates via Google translate but it’s not a problem). Super clean and quite. After exploring Madeira, finally You can relax in the logia, drinking excellent Pingo Doce’s wine for 2euro.

We knew that booking in February would be risky in Madeira as the weather can be wet and cold then, particularly up on the hillside, away from the coast, as this property is. However, what we had not realised is that the houses have no heating system, that guests can use in the evening, as the rest of the year is so warm and sunny and it is not felt necessary to do any more than wear more clothes and use blankets.

Spacious apartment with good views of the sea and lovely flowers and plants around the propertry. Lots of sitting out furniture for outdoor dining in the summer. Very friendly hostess who provided a welcome pack of wine, eggs and snacks which was much appreciated
